It depends. If I know a person then I can easily predict the behavior but in general I have no idea how people work. I just find them strange, emotional, irrational, weird and so on.

Update from HaL! Well I'm okay with my bipolar disorder. Lithium is working wonders here and for now I have zero side effects. I made huge progress in understanding my autism and was real lucky to find people on my level to support me with it. But I still have extreme problems with my chronic state ...

This is very tricky and complicated topic. My observation is that ppl with ASD can also have personality disorders. The basic with AS / ASD is that the disorder started from birth on. Go and see a expert. To make the proper diagnose is complicated thing. I think it happens that ASD ppl are misdiagno...

It's sad that this threat gets so less attention. I think autistic disorders and manic depressiv illness togethere are one of the most serious psychiatric problems. About 8% with a autistic disorder / ASD also have bipolar disorder. We are rather lonely. Sad Sad Sad.

I was just wondering if anyone did, as I was curious, and can you explain what it feels like to you if you do? Like what they say and what it's like to hear them, that sorta stuff...if you don't mind of course. How do you experience your voices? Mine always have been very far away and not very loud...

I think I'm getting it done!

Plan is to stay on Lithium and take stimulants as needed. I am down to only 5 mg of Diazepam now coming from 7 mg of Clonazepam! I was in a lot of trouble! May the good spirit stay with me a little while longer.

Well, I can say that it takes time!

I worked with my own psychiatrist for more then 5 years to find the proper diagnoses and treatment.

Unfortunately mental disorders are complicated to treat and diagnoses because there is so much communication and ideology involved in it.

My logic part seems to help here and told me to withdraw the Flunitrazepam and see my Shrink next day. Always when I do not sleep my mood improves so this helped with the talking. We end...

Thinks seem to improving for me. The drug Pregabalin, also known as Lyrica caused all the side-effects I was suffering from. Now it is day 1 after the the ER withdraw and I'm already feeling much better. This really seems the solution to it. Psychiatriatrist and Neurologist confirmed that it is very...

News from Hal: I saw my shrink on the 2nd. Before the appointment I wrote him 5 pages about the current situation. I always do that to avoid misinterpretation. He was reading my report somehow more serious then he usually does which made me nervous and playing with my iPhone. Well the result was a p...

About my mess: well I continued to mix the drugs I had and successfully made it to the today appointment with my shrink. I wrote 5 pages in Word about the drugs I took, the whole situation, everything. Then we talked for a while. He put me on Flunitrazepam for 2 weeks, then I am allowed to withdraw ...

Does anyone else take a medication like Zyprexa? I took 2.5mg-5mg of Zyprexa for 9 months (it is commonly used in the treatment of Bipolar) and I developed odd tics in my face, arms and legs. I did some research and found these could become permanent and much worse. The condition is called Tardive ...

I think the combination of Asperger and Bipolar sucks! This is no fun at all. I also have ADD and anxiety disorder. Seems to be a hell of a mixture and it is! I also have to cope a lot of intolerances with drugs making it very difficult for me and my shrink to find the proper pills. I have been a me...
