This argument makes me very upset. People like Bourdain and Arcade Fire need to tone it down a bit with their criticism. While I agree that EDM is an unfortunate and annoying fad in the current state of electronic music (I do not care for a lot of these big-headed celebrity DJ's), it does not repres...

Definitely cats. I just find them a lot more pleasant. I also find a lot of dogs to be alright, but I can't stand "dog smell" or the sound of barking - it's a sensory nightmare. So yes, cats. <3

I do, and it's crippling. It's difficult eating in restaurants, I'm very uncomfortable around children, and spend the entire winter on "high alert" over norovirus. |

I totally know where you're coming from. I used to work as a front desk receptionist for a university department, and developed quite a few ailments during my 4 years there. I had weird quasi-panic attacks where it felt like I couldn't breathe or catch my breath, severe back pain, and eventually had...

So glad to see that other people find driving uncomfortable as well. NT's always thought I was "crazy" for finding driving to be a hassle. I don't know why they love to drive so much. In New Jersey, you had to drive to get anywhere, but I always stayed on local roads and avoided major highways like ...

I dread having to wash my makeup off before bed. It's a lose-lose situation because it feels gross and uncomfortable to leave it on, but at the same time I hate the feeling of water being splashed on my face. Especially at night.

I dream about my old house at least 2-3 times a week, and it's beginning to feel pathetic. I don't even think about it during the day, and it still comes back to "haunt" me. I guess I should start with a little background about it. I grew up in an average middle-class suburb of New Jersey (I live in...

I've only had 2 serious relationships in my life - the first with a NT and the current one with an AS. Personally, I find my relationship with the AS to be far more rewarding and enjoyable. We both have Aspergers, and understand that sometimes we need our "me time", and are perfectly happy playing v...

Hello, I'm new here, and would like to introduce myself even though I'm terrible at it. I'm originally from New Jersey, but am now living in the UK with my boyfriend who is originally from NYC. We are both Aspies and sort of "escaped" to the UK to get away from hectic and overpopulated NY and NJ. We...
