In my experience, yes, people will lie to your face and tell the boss something else.
Probably to make themselves look better. Especially if it's a competitive job with great opportunities for advancement.
I've learned to be wary of the people I work with.

This happened to me growing up, I was very confused about my sexuality. Sexuality isn't a fixed orientation, but rather something that can and will change over time. I've identified as gay, straight, bisexual, and asexual all at different times. After I learned I don't like sex and that I am aesthet...

I'm 25 and I still watch the new Pokemon movies that come out, and I was excited to see Wreck it Ralph with my 3 year old nephew (heck I think I was more excited about the movie than he was) I love going to Disney World and I'm still a kid at heart. I don't see anything wrong with that. I like what ...

Honestly I don't see what the big deal is. The age difference isn't large at all and you are both young and in your 20's. If you like her I say keep dating her.

Retro gamer here =) Grew up with NES, the first game I played was Super Mario, and I remember thinking it was the greatest thing ever. Then the SNES came out, and I was in awe. I have every single Nintendo system (both console and hand held) released in the US. And SEGA consoles, along with the SEGA...

I am in the same boat as you. I have a degree is something I am no longer interested in, not to mention I screwed up academically because of personal reasons. (Nervous breakdown as well, couldn't cope with stress from juggling work/school/mental and physical abuse from family/etc. and I completely l...

Same here. I do not eat in front of people for this reason. In school I always skipped lunch and went to the library. I can easily go a day or two without eating. Not to mention the hygiene issue. Do not put your fingers or mouth near my food. I don't know where the heck you have been. Get your own!...

When I was a kid, I would throw a tantrum if I lost.
Now as an adult, unless there is money involved, my reaction is "Whatever".
The whole point is to have fun, so as long as I am having fun, I don't care.

I look at it this way-I'm different. No shame, resentment, anger, or any of that. It is what it is. There are ways to blend and cope. Maybe it's because I went through the first 24 years of my life knowing I was different but didn't know in what way. I was never told I was disabled or that I couldn'...
