"...Members of the transracial adoption community assert that the term "transracial" has a specific historical meaning related to such adoptions, and argue that the term is being "appropriated and co-opted" in a manner that harms the transracial adoption community...."...

When I signed up on the website, I noticed there were only two genders, it made me a little sad. It truly shows how non conforming genders are not recognized. When I signed up I didn't select a gender. Later I came back in and was editing it just to see and mine got stuck on Female. I don't mind bu...

Here is my reason for liking this term especially: - So far other ASD related genders have funny names (gendervague, autigender, etc)... they feel... goofy and the last thing an aspie needs is another laye...

I think ASD does play a factor in my being ace. So does being trans for me. For me, it's more like part of the cause, rather than an alternative to how I see myself. ASD for me, gives me the 3rd person perspective you're talking about. I don't even really imagine myself in first-person sexual scenar...

I am bisexual and have a gay older sister. For some reason, my parents do not want me to come out. I am mostly straight but slightly L/G. Most of my crushes have been boys, but I have had one (and only one) girl crush. I think the reason why I can't come out is because my parents don't want another...

How do I know whether these gender thoughts are genuine, or just an obsession from Aspergers? I've started seeing a gender therapist, but Im kind of wondering if I need to find someone who has more experience of Aspergers? Reboot I think you know through self-reflection and/or work with your therap...

If you're talking " be a man " and " toxic masculinity " and " this is and this isn't what a man should be " with " society's expectations " - yeah, that definitely exists. I just don't personally label that as oppression per se or as a male only problem thou...

The real "deranged cult" (I'd never use that particular term in discourse) is all the young people being indoctrinated into far-right, anti-self-expression ideology by manufactured outrage and lurid conspiracy theories about sinister feminists oppressing straight dudes. Find me one exampl...

Well first, coming out is something you continue to do for the rest of your life really. It starts with the first groups of people you tell, but then later as you meet new people who ask "are you married?" you come out again... If you decide to get married some day then you'll have to come...

I believe people talking about social constructs mostly wildly misunderstand what it means when something is a social construct. Every concept we humans have made are social constructs. That doesn't mean that they are some kind of "made-up" or "fake" things but that we never can...

First of all, I thought that there are physicians and scientists on this forum. Now I see that here is only a frivolous story. Good buy! Oh wait! you didn't tell us it was going to be a good buy... I actually was thinking we couldn't help because I assumed it would be a bad buy... now that I unders...

I thought this forum was more serious. Is there serious among you who are scientists or have good connections with a scientific institution? I can prove my claims very easily if you allow me. When I prove to you everything documented, what then? It seems that this forum is for chat only and nothing...

I relate for sure... I had a tough time getting a diagnosis as a result of it... My first assessment basically says "they were telling us the truth, and the things they told us sound like ASD, but they didn't really act autistic so they're not"................ yep... it was that easy to di...

Zot, your message intrigues me . This post and video made the thread so worth it! Zot... So it's tough for us to take you ...
