Yeah, I essentially want to show how sad an aspie's life can be, when he/she tries to reach out to people, try to socialize, only to fail miserably. Also, I want to work on some of the mood disorders (extreme sadness / anger) that some of us have suffered and their possible (but not probable) outco...

I usually don't think of myself as "dark", but I'm interested in what you mean by it. Do you mean the more depressing/lonely side of us?

And if your loneliness is about not having a GF or wife, well, we've gone over this a ton here, and I've already made my views known on how to solve that.

Where is your advice on that? I'd like to read it.

There's an old saying "the world is what you make of it" and I sort of agree with it to a certain extent. I have seen many people that create all kinds of problems for themselves, and it could be easily changed if they just changed their way of thinking. Intellectualization has never worked for me;...

Unfortunately for me neither of those outcomes are viable. My basic progression over the past year has been, Lonely -> Depressed -> Suicidal. I'm not sure what to do. I have the emotional needs that most humans have, but not the programming necessary to satisfy them. When I see couples on the stree...

Know what you mean! But I'd also like to get to the point where I am not "afraid" of too much time alone. But right now, I am really depressed, so I just need to be busy busy busy.

I'm a lesbian, and I don't hate men at all! I just posted something about how I prefer men as friends.

I think this is what I need to do right now. Thanks for the reminder. I need something in my life to keep me going, and work has always done that in the past.

I just can't bear to face consciousness again for another day. It fades by mid afternoon...usually. I read somewhere that this tends to happen to people who feel they have no emotional support in their lives and that certainly describes me. It's really been depressing me lately just watching people...

From sharing flats with males as a student, there's always a tense build up until drama with them - it's inevitable, and it's all to do with access to females & resources hard-wired into us; the "Alpha, Beta and Omega - what are you man?" syndrome I call it. Wow! That sounds so annoying! I'm a ...

AWESOME idea for a book. One thing for me.... I remember thinking things, and wanting "to talk", but there was a disconnect between my thoughts and my mouth. I found this out later, when I went on an anti-depressant, and it helped me be more verbal. Things that I was thinking of saying, I actually s...

I'm a vegan (and I don't really like vegetables either!). I did it gradually. I gave up red meat, then chicken. I was just eating fish and dairy/eggs, but I read a pamphlet by the company "Mercy for Animals," and it turned me into a vegan. At first, I craved red meat, but it lasted only a few weeks....
