OH, that touches a sore spot for me. I was abused by both parents, physically, verbally, neglect, you name it.
I'm an adult now, and both parents are dead, but I'm stuck with the memories.
Looking back, every single relative knew, and yet no one stepped in to help me. |

The Midwest -- Illinois, Indiana, Ohio -- has some of the most affordable real estate in the country. The coasts are expensive.
I'm in Portland, Oregon, and house prices are shooting up here as Californians are migrating north. That 1,611 square foot house would be $250,000 - $280,000 here. |

Right, women really don't go for that sort of thing. Maybe one of your three male friends can hook you up. Good luck. |

I'm in Portland, in the beautiful liberal Pacific Northwest, but you're too young for me. And besides, with your skinny and 34C wish list, you have ruled out skinny and 36C. I get the impression that you have high expectations. If you do find a girlfriend, I hope you realize that she won't com... |

1995. I remember because I was one of the first customers of the business that, at the time, called itself the Earth's largest bookstore. |

I rescued a dog from the Humane Society. He's a couch potato, not very demanding. |

I have no clue what I weigh. I just go by how I look in my clothes. I don't have a scale. Haven't had one for years. |

I'm not patient enough to read all 17 pages. Sorry if this is a repeat.
It's easier to get forgiveness than permission. |

I don't need a diagnosis from a doctor to understand now, with hindsight, that this is the primary reason why my marriage ended. |

I walk my dog every day. There are paved walking trails where I live, and there are more at the park right across the street -- miles of them. |

Like it or not, people judge other people by the way they look. We do it too.
I tend to stick with more classic styles. Fashion sense: passable. |

Favorite animal? Dolphins. Think Flipper.
(Do people outside the U.S. know who/what Flipper is? The dolphin star of a 1960's TV show.) |

I can't believe that no one said it's 4:20. Not that I have any actual knowledge on that matter, of course. Here it is 8:08PM here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I've finished dinner, planned tomorrow's, walked the dog, and now it's time for me to unwind. I'll see if I've made enough posts to s... |

How many engineers does it take to cut a birthday cake?
Four, at my company.
It really happened, just a couple weeks ago.
I love engineers, but I can sure understand how those engineer jokes get started. |

Yeah, send me a PM when you're in town. We can go have coffee at one of the coffee chains, a microbrew at one of the brewpubs here, or a shake ( I think there's a burger chain here that makes good shakes). |
