My mother. She refused to acknowledge I was different and still does. She refused to take her hand flapping, hair twirling, seat bouncing, detail obsessed, socially incapable, learning disabled daughter to a specialist for evaluation even though every check up I had my doctors strongly encouraged it...

I have learned American Sign Language to some degree, currently in a couple other classes on campus. Aside from changing my major every semester based on what classes I'm currently taking, my strangest obsession as a child would be frogs. Stuffed frogs, frog photos, frog pajamas, frog socks, frog shirts, even my bedroom was lilypad green... As I got older it turned into music, and then into Leopard...

I don't care for either, depending on the situation. I do have ear plugs I wear that lower the decibels by 10 to help. If they're unexpected noises I have more of a reaction to them.
