Most people who self identify primarily as being highly intelligent are compensating for feelings of inferiority... even if they really are as clever as they think. Certainly that's the case with me. I know that I've got a very high IQ and several skills that are way off the chart... but my feeling...

You're all just jealous. The only reason your so lonely and pathetic and can't interact is because your too dumb. If you were smart like me you'd be able to hide your autism.

@Erminea: That's one way to do it I know what you mean though - because of the same reason I usually make weird cross-eyed goof-faces, I just don't know what else to do most of the time (unless I get more than, say 10 seconds of thinking time...) |

I find it also extremely uncomfortable if I wake up and it's pitch black. In that blurry world between dreams and reality I tend to become really paranoid, and I need to be able to see around me INSTANTLY or I may freak out a bit for that slight moment between waking up and finding the light switch....

Well too late and too late....the more you postpone it, the harder it'll get right? But "better late then never" applies to this as well. Doing it in bits like you did: trying your wings and coming back is one way to do it. I personally was ultra-independent as a kid: I had a bad relationship with m...

So...I couldn't find a topic for poetry. No better reason for starting one then ;) This is a topic where everyone can post their poetry/song lyrics, and where we can also discuss them, and comment on others' pieces. I'll go first with a couple of mine: Girl I live in their shadow the Golden Girls Fe...

I feel I am in the crowd, but never really connecting to them (or very rarely, at least), like I'd be there, yet in another, one-way dimension... I'd wanna find people that I really felt on the same page with which is very rare for me. So even if I find most people and their talks about the mundane ...

First pic: You are lucky, you've got the whole package - large wide grayish eyes, feminine facial features, a delicate movie star nose, and a beautiful set of lips. Second pic: your choice of jewelery is excellent picture and the earrings match the necklace. Haha, I guess it's just a very flatterin...

A slightly downward angle. This was with the older piercing that I had before I made a new, better placed one (not very long ago, nonetheless). Yes, my hair is slightly PS'ed here because I was having a bad hair-day and wanted to make it look like it normally did =P http://i60.photobucket.com/albums...
