I've been trying to do this for a while now, and I can't think of a more literal way to say "I miss you" then by just saying that. Are there other, more clever ways to get that message across?
Advice?
Thank you in advance! |

Oh! Here's one that gets me. If you recommend something to an NT, will they always assume you have an angle? There have been many times where I recognised something that a person would like and the simple act of giving or showing them it was made very complicated. I think Amelie had the right idea ...

I didn't say none. I said I know quite a few. Although it is becoming increasingly common to resort to medication to deal with problems like depression.

Ok can we put on the breaks for a second? You're making a fairly broad generalization from an article that's based off one person living in one area. I will agree on one thing, drug abuse is more rampant now than it has ever been in the past. Drug abuse is more commonly associated with drugs (and so...

Having been a forum moderator in the past, I've learned the hard way that people are likely to misconstrue even the smallest things. This is unfortunate, but there is no way of getting around it. Forum moderators have to find a way to be impartial and unbiased. If you are in doubt of something you w...

Hi! I'm 23 years old and live in Los Angeles California. It'd be great to meet other who are like minded. While diagnosed as an NT, my boyfriend is unprofessionally diagnosed with Asperger's. It'd be great to make friends with people who share the same thought pattern as he does. I was also misdiagn...

It would literally kill everyone. I dunno about that. But it will ruin a lot of things. It will disable us to share photos and videos, especially if they have content from other movies. All the MPAA will have to do is claim copyright infringement and then it will shut the website down. It can end t...

Depends on the context, but usually, if you say "I'm going out with xyz" it means that xyz is your boyfriend or girlfriend. But if you say "I'm going out with xyz tonight for dinner", it could just mean as friends. Well said. Same thing as the definition of "hooking up", which has different meaning...

Hello there. I am a neurotypical female dating an Aspie male. One thing I realized really quickly is that I need to be very clear in what I want. But there is one theme I have noticed with your posts. You have made it quite clear that you are not fond of your father. I'm sure you have your reasons. ...

Hi, Firstly, it's so nice that you're doing all this research to accommodate your boyfriend's Aspie-ness! I'm an Aspie female and from what you've described, if I were on that schedule and in a relationship I would prefer to leave the contact for when I was spending a chunk of time with that person...

..no, that's part of the art of making waves. on the other hand you have to respect the compromise. but as far as the communication goes, its more complicated than that, and you'll have to deal with it. as someone who self identifies with the community, i'm not willing to "adjust" for the purpose o...

I was under the impression that flirting is mainly a face-to-face thing, whether among people on the spectrum or off. While it's possible to make an email, text, phone message, etc. flirty, not only does that seem difficult, it's also not possible to act on it right then and there (by touching, whi...

Can I ask how did you two meet each other? How did you begin dating in the first place? Not dating myself, and being a guy, it boggles my mind how some guys manage to date or attract women, and yet all they can do is "text" and are "not communicating" on the same level.....How does that work? Yes, ...

In this day and age, there are all kinds of ways to communicate. I am a Neurotypical female dating an Aspie male. He generally prefers to communicate via text and almost never talks on the phone. This was a rather difficult adjustment for me, but I'm ok with it now. I know Aspies are very comfortabl...
