You do not have to tell me what you think of it. It was just an idea that I developed over the weeks. I finally put it all together and got organized. This was a couple months later. Its here everyone.

I agree that excercise can work. For me, it means just a simple walk to the grocery store or gas station near where I live that sets my mind on something almost on a daily basis. When you are talking about aspergers, our lives often times or maybe most of the time is influenced by the demands of soc...

If you had permenant brain damage, you would know. just think that ssri's are "emotionally" addicting. you become afraid of normal life if you think that something will cure everything in it. There are people out there that smoke maryjuana and don't stop or only much later on in life do they stop. I...

Antipsychotics (especially) and ssri's can suppress some of the dopamine system. Dopamine plays a role or a direct role in reward, movement, motivation, and learning. So those drugs probably could create some kind of long-term "organic brain syndrome". Your dopamine receptors probably don't have a g...

I read about him because I saw those UFO hunters episodes on the history channel and tried to look up what it was about through a book so I tried amazon.com (UFO's are linked to new age) I found the author to a book called "The science of aliens" then I found the authors' other book "strange brains ...

The adaption of organic built in organic technology in other life-forms built from genes making protiens is impressive to me. Perhaps this is some form of protein governed organic intelligence. ...

Life does seem to evolve from self-preservation instinct. Could we think that the animals are a "less developed" evolution than humans? If you take a look at insects such as bee's and ants or look at the animals such as rattle-snakes and scorpians, you'd notice how much "violence" and self-preservat...

I almost forgot, there have been many studies out there showing a link between maryjuana and triggering "paranoia" or "schizoprenia". Perhaps it can be harmful to some people but then wouldn't they just stop since the experience was bad? These days, "researchers" want to make drugs that will boost o...

You probably shouldn't worry too much about what other people are doing. I posted last time on your last post that had to do with what you were saying. I used to think about suicide many times when I was a teenager. I wouldn't ever blame myself for feeling that way. You may always have a untoward ve...

Love is probably not an emotion and also since not everyone knows how to explain it such as you. I don't think that most neurotypicals really understand it either. I think that love is relating to other peoples thoughts, feelings, and perceptions. And that can also generate this emotion when we are ...

I'm in the same situation but I am older and feel more in control of my life. I don't feel as much controlled by family members anymore. Just keep working towards having your own life and being in control over your own life. Let your family or someone in the family know what you are working towards....

Risperidone is in a class of medicines called an "atypical antipsychotic". Are you sure that you have schizophrenia? Risperidone blocks some of the functions of the brain that use the neurotransmitter called "dopamine". The theory behind this blocking of dopamine is said that it may suppress some of...

I first read one of his books (Peter breggins books) when I was 15 1/2 years old. But, ya, dopamine is sometimes called a stress hormone because it does have a strong link to the fight or flight response. Increased dopamine in the brain releases a stress hormone called "cortisol"(A catabolic stress ...

You just got me thinking about "life is going nowhere". For one, there is a difference between ages 20 and 24. In my experience, it was a big difference in thinking and perceiving. There is even a difference between ages 22 and 24. I also live with my parents but I also have a.d.d symptoms so I have...

Well, his brain is very active then. It would be intuitive to think that your son prefers to spend much time staying up at night since melatonin is a night-time hormone. When the sun light becomes dereased by the time of dusk, the pineal gland starts to synthesize melatonin using serotonin as a prec...

2ukenkerl, To my knowledge, stimulants mainly or only act on dopamine. Many pharmecueticals that are stimulants I beleive have other affinities towards other neurotransmitter systems but I think that these are mostly weak insignificant affinities. So there may be increased noradrenalin and adrenalin...
