These poor mothers. Having to raise an autistic child. Such an unfair burden to be put on a mother. Was it their choice to have an autistic child? No! Yet they are stuck with spending countless hours of their "free time" dealing with their autistic children. Let's find a way to help these mothers in...

I'd advise to let him know how you feel about touching within the first few dates. And your goal seems to be to get over some of your aprehension at being touched, so if he's a decent bloke, perhaps he can help. (If not, then he's probably not a decent bloke. Good test, eh?)

I'll just throw in my $0.02 that it's probably not a uniform thing amongst Aspies. I'm sure that there are both those who do have similar issues, and those who don't.

(I'm a professional driver, so that answers that question about me. But I feel for you, I truly do.)

For the most part, it seems like men are mostly indifferent to me. The ones who aren't indefferent seem to perceive me as some kind of threat.

As far as women go, I get extremes. Either they instantly trust me almost completely, or they instantly despise me. :?

Not quite OCD, but I ALWAYS scrape off any excess food into either the trash or garbage disposal and RINSE my plate and utensils before putting them into the sink with the other dirty dishes (for somebody else to wash). I just think it's common courtesy to the poor sucker that ends up having to wash...
