I haven't (though, I tend to internalize my feelings, which causes a host of other problems, and when I do have meltdowns, they're in the house, typically in isolation). I did this all the time as a child, and still do. I'd chew my lip and the inside of my cheeks (until they were raw and sore), but now I just bite my lip. This increases with stress, although I find myself doing it other times, like when I'm deep in thought, or intensely focused on something.

I have always tried to avoid asking for help if I can manage on my own, even if it requires more effort or time. Same for me with the groceries; I'll have my arms so full I'll have to kick the vehicle door shut, and open the front door with my elbow (it has a thumb latch handle). If I absolutely can...
