I mourn because I think I have passed this on to my grandson. He never smiles. He is obscessed with paper towels. He hides in any nook he can fit his little body into. I am very grateful my grandmother didn't mourn my genes. She supported me in my "quirkiness" and my desire for isolation. Why does ...

I get depressed seomtimes, but it's usually from lack of fresh air and sunshine, and usually around Jan./Feb. A seasonal kind of thing. I make myself get outside and do something other than just sit in the house and get more depressed. Other than that, when I get depressed, which is not often, it's ...

I got a Kodak EasyShare DX6490 for Christmas in '04. For about a year I didn't do much with it except take family photos now and then. I recently became fascinated with taking "calendar" shots of flowers and other things of nature. You know, big bright close ups that look like those huge wall calend...

I voted MAYBE. I have some friends, or should I say, WHEN I have friends, it always seems like too much work to keep up THEIR standards of friendship. I don't like to talk on the phone all the time, or send greeting cards for every silly occasion that comes down the lane. And then there's the "just ...

I think a big part of abusive relationships has to do with the psychological manipulation that makes the abused person feel powerless or not believe that something is wrong. Thats the whole point of educational programs like you wrote about. I think it's true that aspie girls are more vulnerable to...
