Poorly written. One question had "be" instead of "me", and it seems like maybe there's hyperbolic language. "I can't stand ..." and "It's not fair" for example. I can stand it, and it's plenty fair, it just really isn't how I want it to be. The entire question...

Sometimes I wonder if aspies growing up in environments with less literal dialects (The southern US for example, with lots of nonsensical phrases) have a harder time, or ultimately learn linguistic pliability better than someone like me who grew up in a more .. formal .. setting.

I've always banged my head into things; brick walls behind my chair in classes, poles in public places, bed headboards, couches, I never much bothered thinking about it not being something others do. It helps me focus and remain calm, and both if those are important.
