thank you so much to everyone for your input. I shall pass on all this fantastic information to my sister. My neice is to undergo more tests at monash medical, but as it is christmas time we're not sure when this will be. This information will be invaluable.

My neice aged 9 was diagnosed with Aspergers twelve months ago. Today she had an Epileptic fit and i was wondering if this has a link with aspergers. up to today she has never had any fits at all. My son 17 also has aspergers and has never had one but i am desperate to know if there is a link or not.

My son read the melways (an australian road map) from top to bottom as a youngster and if you said a name of a town he could tell you what page that town could be found. He also was a big fan of Paul Jennings books.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback, my son also has a better immune system than other kids we know and a high tolerance of pain which is great as he can't have antibiotics.

a comic book full of idioms such as "get it off your chest" ... have a picture of somebody pulling something off their chest "pull your socks up" could be another. any idiom where aspies take the phrase literally would be funny and it would be a great teaching aid for young aspies to get a grasp on ...

:P thanks for the info. My son also gets hives, starting from a red raised rash like a burn and turning his whole skin red like sunburn. He has reactions to amoxil, ceclor, euromythsyn, bactrim etc. Duo washing powder also gives him hives.
