The way I make flat bread now isn't necesssarily the only way as noted in the reference to eating said bread on an Arab Dhow chugging up the Persian Gulf. I have seen similar bread made from the Southern Sahara to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. If the objective is to pick holes in the premise that prepari...

I'm actually in agreement with at least some of what you say, Allison. There are times when people have to be resourceful with little. It doesn't mean that poverty is easy, though. It's a hard, grinding thing. The problem is that to make your own bread the way Alison describes you need to have a re...

For those of you who have chosen not to tranisition, what are your reasons, and do you think it's possible to cope and not be miserable if you don't transition? For me I had to transition socially so the answer is no. I couldn't live as a male and not be miserable. Hormone therapy was crucial. Othe...

Let's just say I'm a trans person who is reaching "peak trans." You're a trans person reaching the peak of transphobia. Honestly, some of the comments I've seen coming from you I hear more from the likes of anti-trans bigots than I do actual trans people. Sometimes I have a few choice wor...

Then we'd have plants eating other plants. Wouldn't that be weird?

Are you afraid of not being trans? If you found out you were really just a cisgender male would you be devastated? If you found out you weren't transgender would that be painful for you to realize? No, quite the opposite. If I found out I was trans I'd be devastated. I depend on my parents both emo...

I read the title as "worlds happiest video game" for some reason. I thought it was a new thread but then I clicked it and I realize that I've already read through this before.

I suppose it could be considered asociality? Honestly it just sounds kind of stuck up though. I can understand not wanting to talk about certain intellectual topics with certain people, but not wanting to interact with them at all? That's completely different. Funny you should say that, because I'm...

I definitely have vocal tics. When I clear my throat that's a tic.

I guess I stim if you consider saying phrases under your breath just because they sound cool to be stimming.

I feel like I'm either a child or a 15 year old trapped in a 21 year old body. I guess I feel like a child and a 15 year old at the same time really. Like a child I only enjoy social interaction when I'm playing some kind of game with somebody. I get no pleasure from small talk even when I seem to b...

I find it easier to get on with other girls and have sometimes wished I was one because life might be easier. You're language is inconsistent. I'm not sure if you've noticed but saying you sometimes wish you were female implies that you aren't already female while saying "other girls" sug...

Distraction. The issue that causes me distress is one that can't be resolved so the next best thing is to take my mind off it.

There's a good attitude in India which is "live and let live"...tolerance of difference. Here in the west everyone are clones programmed to wear the same type of clothes, live the same lifestyle and think in the same way. Even those who are "alternative" tend to have middle clas...
