Thanks for the replies, but I'm still no closer to understanding what it means. The first guy who asked me this wasn't some crazy drunken bastard, he was my brothers friend who had some a problem with me for some reason, but I couldn't figure out why. In self defense, I'll do what has to be done to ...

Yeah read a book on it. I read a book about body language, and suddenly I started noticing things that NTs can see. For example, if someone starts rubbing the back of their head for no reason it means they're uncomfortable.

I can handle myself just fine in a fight, its just I have to know for sure that someones starting a fight to ready myself. The only reason anyone would wanna fight with me is some kinda misunderstanding anyone, so I'd prefer to avoid it but if it happens, I'm not gonna get beaten up over a misconcep...

Twice I've encountered this situation, I don't know what it means. The person starts asking me if I would kick the s**t out of someone, or kill someone. When I ask who, they don't specify anyone in particular. Its a completely mind boggling question, how could I know if I would want to harm someone ...

Yeah I remember when I was 15, my whole life revolved around subverting authority. I'm still not a big fan of authority, but situations like this show me that in some cases its necessary to lay down the law to prevent things from getting too chaotic. So its actually legal to let underage people drin...

A psychiatrist I went to a good while ago wouldn't prescribe me xanax because its addictive (I agree with him now, benzos are extremely hard to get off, and I didn't need them enough for the benefits to outweigh the negatives) and he said that this is especially a problem for people with autism. Per...

This problem I have is a lot harder to resolve with adults. With kids I can just be blatantly direct and tell them to get out of the house because they're causing problems but with people my own age thats not socially acceptable, with adults it seems your have to take a subtle approach and indirectl...

Yeah thats a good point Willard, I didn't even consider it until I heard someone mention the word "police" then I thought about the conversation I'd have with them if they showed up. So I decided to just kick everyone out. I'm in Europe, but I'm sure the laws would be similar here. Pretty stupid tha...

An example of what I mean: I've lived with my sister and her daughter for the past few years. Now my niece is 14 and right now my sister is away for a weekend, and I let my niece take over the house by having a load of her friends over for a party. This is the first time it happened, but I'm pretty ...

How do you go about starting up your social life again (i.e. gaining a group of friends) after being a loner for a few years? When i moved back to my home country after living abroad for a few years, I decided not to get back in contact with any of my old friends, and instead indulge in isolating my...

I used to get this badly, but I overcame it to a certain extent by accepting the fact that I am strange, and that this is in fact a positive trait (i.e. better to be unusual than to be a conformative part of the herd). When you're not embarrased or ashamed about it, most people actually like you for...
