@babyheart
Luckily the grease came off easily, but I don't wear marigolds, I can't stand anything that covers my fingers. My hands are quite resilient. :)
@Kiprobalhato
It was only a small tree, very sickly looking. It's amazing what nature can do!

I have been tasked with cleaning the kitchen this week. I just pulled out all of the appliances to clean behind them, and it looks like no-ones been there in years. There is dust, grease and cobwebs everywhere, and worse yet, the fridge had a tree growing in the back of it!! ! 8O

I'm guilty of being like Sheldon over having a "spot" on the sofa. It's not my 0,0,0,0 but I'm a creature of habit, so once I pick a spot to sit, I pretty much feel compelled to always sit there and am not comfortable sitting elsewhere. I do that too, kind of. I always sit on the stairs or the floo...

I was a blue baby too! I had to be born 3 weeks early via cesarean section as the umbilical cord was around my neck. After being hung upside down and slapped on the backside my pulmonary system was found to be in good condition and focus switched to my digestive system.

Hi, every one of my periods were like that in my teens, and now in my 20's I still get them sometimes, although in my case they seem to be getting better as I get older. It might be worth talking to your doctor about it, or talk to a female nurse if your doctor is male and prone to dismiss women tro...

Hi, I am on the spectrum and am hypersensitive to light as a part of it, I often see floating coloured lights and shapes in my vision, mostly as a result of bright, glaring or flashing lights, and remember chasing them around as a child thinking they were fairies. It is possible that she is experien...

Have any women here had a mastectomy just because their breasts felt wrong ever since puberty and not because of cancer? Did you have any trouble with your GP taking you seriously? What type of specialist did you talk to about it? Was it covered on a health scheme? Any regrets? I have issues like t...

I don't. Too much to focus on and the unpredictability of other people; it just shuts my brain down. This, and also the sound of the engine and the fact that driving is done to one side of the car rather than sat in the middle causes me issues. I usually scream uncontrollably when trying to control...

sadly, I have never got the hang of the 'proper' way of tying shoelaces, but luckily my mother found a method I could get the hang of. She called it the "Bunny Ears" method. As I got older she did make comment about me not tying my laces the "Adult way", but I've continued tying my laces like a chil...

I don't really see how not wanting kids or a full time job is an AS life. Surely having AS has no relevance there. For instance, I want to be an architect, but I don't strive for climbing social ladders, having lots of friends and contacts, I want to live for my job eventually. Is that really an NT ...

Have you had Batemans Dark Mild? I'd love to try that at some point, but it's very low alcohol.

I haven't come across that one, I'll have to look out for it :)

Locally brewed real ale is my favourite, dark brews are the best, but I do occasionally like honeyed ale.
My favourite brand is Batemans, especially Dark Lord
Not keen on largers.
Stouts are a mixed field for me, some I like but others not.

I've never avoided an assessment, in fact I've been looking for one ever since it came out that I am on the spectrum. Doctors haven't been able to understand me and my traits before but this explains a lot and helps with treatments, mental assessments, counseling, etc Basically with me my condition ...
