I have brown skin. As per the avatar. I am paler in the winter (about 9 months out of the year) than in the summer. *shrugs*

@meems Whenever the person sitting next to me on the bus/train does that, I do the same. I don't care if I bump legs, I find it rude and uncaring to take up more space than the seat and if they (male or female) don't have to adhere to the social rules, why should I? Between males, the right answer ...

I used to be barefoot all the time growing up, but now I always wear shoes outside. Too much broken glass and vomit and other nasty stuff on the sidewalks. I wear indoor shoes (slippers or sandals bought for the purpose of wearing inside) because I have cats and there are always some sand on the fl...

My opinion... Real friends don't dismiss a friendship over a misunderstanding/miscommunication. You deserve better than that. Everyone deserves better than that.

[off topic] Wait, do you people wear outdoor shoes inside the house? Or do you mean you wear house slippers? I have never worn outdoor shoes inside the house. Well, maybe for the odd emergency call of nature, or if I realize I left the buss pass on the kitchen table or wallet or keas or something, a...

I hate to have hair in my face or in the way in any form. I usually braid it (two braids, Pippi Longstocking style! ), or use one of those elastic bands that go near the hairline in the front and around the head under the hair, when I have it loose/down. Also, my hair is pretty wild, it has a ...

Just for the record, the reason that toilet seats should be kept down, is so that a female who has to pee in a hurry doesn't land on the hard, unforgiving and slippery toilet rim. Does that actually happen? As a guy, I do have to sit for some toilet activities, but I have never in my life accidenta...

Why do men pee standing up in a bathroom in a house? It's unhygenic to get pee on the floor. Why do men stand too far away from the toilet when they go? Do they think their monkey is that long? Why do Horses not like to pee when they are standing on concrete? Why are horses relevant in a thread abo...

I can honestly say I've NEVER nor have I ever known anyone who knew anyone who EVER was offended by a guy offering to pay for a date. I know people who DID offend women by not paying though. I don't think women are offended by the offer , I think women are offended by the attitude that can pop up w...

While all bio-parents are guarenteed free of mental illness, abuse, addiction, poverty..? The state or government have never had to step in and remove bio-kids from unsafe family situations. This only happens to adoptive families. I beg you, look at the statistics, and tell me bio-kids in general a...

I'm just afraid that if I adopt due to sterility or low sperm quality, I wouldn't be accepted by other guys who have children of their own. It wouldn't make me a real father. You know what makes a person a mom or a dad? It's not about genetics, just about anyone within fertile age can make a fetus....

^It's that kind of rabid defense of the adoption system that pisses me off. How am I being rabid? Because I point out that bio-parents are just as likely, if not more likely, to be less than optimal parents? The screening process is there for a reason, and bio-kids don't have the privilege of havin...
