I passed my driver's exam on April 21st after a failure on April 19th due to blowing a stop sign at the very start of the exam (test anxiety got to me and some how I missed the stop sign even though it was very obvious). Second exam I got a nice examiner who gave me some hints like "At the Stop...

Been about 10+ days since I've updated this. I've been out on a couple of drives with the instructor and so far it hasn't been too terribly bad. I've so far done some in town driving, roundabouts, some parking, and some highway/interstate time. First lesson was rough as one would expect, jerky stops...

On and have been on Wellburtin for several years which helps with mood swings and I've tried Paxil for anxiety with nasty side-effects even on a low introductory dose for a few days. Tried upping the Wellburtin from 150mg daily to 150mg twice days for 300mg per day, which helped a little, but after ...

I'm pumped today, I passed my written permit test with flying colors (perfect score), and the vision test (I don't wear prescription glasses or contacts), and I now have my driver's instruction permit. I'll be calling my local area driving school to start the actual driving lessons hopefully as soon...

Time for a bit of an update on this: I have made a decision, and that decision is to try and go for it once again (3rd time's the charm right?). I'll taking the written test for my permit on Thursday of next week, and then the following week (Monday or Tuesday), I will likely be taking my first less...

Driving has always been a strength of mine, but I relate to your feelings, so I have a few things to offer. While I did not have driver's ed at my school, I also refused to take the course privately due to the anxiety of having an instructor and being with kids my own age. I took an online course, ...

Not quite a 'work' related topic, but I couldn't find anywhere else where this was appropriate to post. I'm 29 years old and I took drivers ed in High School and did PASS, but I was too nervous and anxious to take the driving test to get my license. I had a very bad experience when I was 15 and firs...

I've become accused to the bald/shaven look and can't recognize myself with hair beyond a quarter inch or more. Just wish that If I was going bald, I would just lose all my scalp hair and be done with it, but sadly that's not in the cards. I'll lose all the hair on the top of my head, but likely kee...

If I had a choice, I would prefer longer hair. However genetics has instead dealt me the bald card, and even when I had a full head of hair it still wouldn't grow much more then shoulder length before it just became a giant bozo the clown/pum pum shape. Even though I'm going bald, about 75-80% of my...

Actually I have had a couple 'shutdowns' looking back on it. However the fact it took awhile thinking about it tells you how rare they are. Usually my shutdowns are due to a traumatic event, or a situation so alien or scary that it literally causes me to freeze and just stay in one area with the 'De...

Bit of a weird 'wheel' here. Says that I'm pretty much 50/50

122 out of 200 Asperger's.
99-200 'Normie' if I'm reading it right.

Yep, describes me in a nutshell. Especially in regards to things that I really don't have control of, like my death or the end of the world should that ever occur. As for 'fun' things I often find the anticipation more exciting then the actual event.

Title pretty much says it all. I starting going bald in late high school into college with the classic widow's peak and small area of thinning on the vertex/crown. Stayed this way for several years, but the baldness in the last year or so has exploded in size with the vertex now completely bald, and...

That depends on who you ask. Most people its a quality of life thing. Meaning they'd rather suffer the ill effects or in extreme cases die sooner, if it means that between now and the bad thing is of higher quality (less pain physically or psychologically) then it's worth. Some would rather squeeze ...
