If those are original, you should try stand-up.

Heehee, I wish they were! My puns aren't that funny. Most people don't even get them.

I think that the problem here is that the spectrum is so broad and encompasses so many different types of people. It also varies in severity.

I would take it as a compliment. Perhaps they admire you and are looking for ways to connect.

Just to make you smile! 1. Two antennas met on a roof, fell in love and got married. The ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was excellent. 2. A jumper cable walks into a bar. The bartender says, "I'll serve you, but don't start anything." 3. Two peanuts walk into a bar, and one was "a salted". ...

Gulf coast, north of Tampa, west of Gainsville. :D We moved to the boonies after I got out of the military because of my social anxiety/panic attacks. I like it here, it is very quiet and isolated.

I realize that it is idealist, and I appoligise for my ideals being a little lofty. But, it has worked that way for me, to a certain degree. Idealism is something that I have had to learn. I was always too logical to be an idealist. It is logical to realize that you can't change people. I had to com...

So you can either have an us vs them attitude or lie to yourself, believe there arent differences that will always cause conflict and continue with the facade where they are a hairs breath from lynching you for being different? I am not nessisarily saying to lie to yourself, but to rejoice in the d...

I beleive in treating everyone equaly, no matter what label society has placed on them. Back when I was in high school, many moons ago, I despized the normal kids. I did not like them because they were different than me. Those differences scared me. Think about it though, isn't that the same reason ...

I think you should allow your son or daughter to talk about their special interests as long it's in moderation. I think that this is true with all children. A child does not know about limitations untill you set some for them. Moderation is the key word here. Back when I was growing up, my parents ...

When my son was younger, I used to be afraid that the way my son would go on and on about his intrests would annoy people. It turns out that most people see my son as very delighful and bright, and that my fear had been from my own insecurities. If you try and control his intrests, it will end up fr...

I have a love/hate relationship with math. When I was a kid I started hating it right about the same time as we started learning long division. I was a challange to me and I hated challanges. So, I pretty much gave up on it. MY fascination was always with language, so I stuck with that for a long wh...
