So I have come to a weird place. I am in a largerish city, and for being here 3 months one woman hit on me (and led nowhere), one was an ass when I asked, and yet another said she worked wayy too much. So I am not sure if I should be forward, and come off as "creepy" (that f*****g word ann...

Well that is what I am trying to figure out: what do I want to do for fun. Krav Maga, Spanish, volunteer with my local government, join a local political party, and maybe join the Free Masons. Some of these are limited by the fact I am trying to save money, but others might be more doable. I think I...

And in that lies the rub. My problems came from not being showed attention by my peers as I grew up + now having zilch in terms of physical friends, but I get if I am too desperate that people won't like me for that, but there are very few things that are powerful enough to take my mind off the situ...

But it is not even that (politics). As I mentioned it contributes to it, however people, culture, etc. has been annoying me way before Trump, or even Obama became president. Instead of acquiring more knowledge and a greater technological society, we are digressing (for the most part, outside maybe m...

So as of late I have been dealing with my ego and other emotional baggage. I realized that I want someone to tell me I am ok, as I feel left out from the majority of society and feel more psychopathic towards society as time goes on. Any how, I feel like my desperation for a mate can be summed up in...

China would not be so bad, at least s**t is happening there, in other words, it has a culture worth preserving. Again I don't want to come against the US for being the US, but I would say sine 9/11 and further since 08' things have really gone in the gutter. Maybe I will backpack for a bit then sett...

I really have tried to get this off my chest for years, but as the years go on, I feel way less loyal to my country. It is not just that the government does not know how to manage money, tramples on civil liberties, or intervenes in other countries (although that adds to the mix), the culture, peopl...

Well not to be funny, but the scraping in and of itself is a HUGE topic... trust me. Also mini databases for things you collect or to sort things out, GUIS for command line programs (making and IDE for Linux comes to mind), games, visualization aids, etc. . Also there is computer vision and a bunch ...

Care to point to a tutorial to explain this? I had also thought about finding sites that excluded javascript or CSS, but seems like too much of a pain to do on google. I am intrigued by your method if you don't mind. I have found directories, pdfs, and the like, but kinda curious about the bookmark ...

I am working on a tool to use modifiers without having to specify them. Also collate lists so you don't have to do 5 different searches to find the same thing. Also there is a search engine called millionshort, but it is slightly broken, so I am trying to work around that and integrate it into my pi...

I have been making Python scripts lately to find decent web content, but it seems harder to sort out the chaff lately because "branded" domains have been pushed to the top, and many niche topics only have rudimentary talk about subjects. All the sites I used to go to have to s**t and even ...

I got appointed to the Environment & Natural Resources Commission. For a little bit I thought they forgot about me. Next up, county education board or county commission. They meet once a month, and I get to talk with people on the county commission board, so that will help me decide if I want to...

While I was expecting my candidates to loose (third party), I wish they got a bigger percentage of the vote, which makes me sad. What make me even more sad is half these dolts that got elected are not even conservative. Barry Goldwater is probably rolling over in his grave, ditto for Howard Buffet.
