I have been realizing that by hiding myself and interests, I look like I am in the uncanny valley and I am a robot. However, sometimes I am not opening too much. I teased coworkers a little bit, I talked a little bit about nootropics, and video games, but other topics seem hidden below the surface a...

To start off, I was sitting by myself at my place feeling bored and unfulfilled, so I decided to take a trip to the big bad city looking for some fun and excitement as well as explore around by myself, figuring out my life and ask myself questions such as: Who am I? What am I going to do in this li...

As the previous person said comment on their doodles or just chit chat. Try to do it casually and without emphasis on it.

Yeah I have been slowly learning PySDL and working on a few game ideas. I also want to work on a few remake of DOS like games. I have some other programs I am working on first, but I am slowly working through my programs and finishing them up.

I have felt this way since 08. I might play some games here and there but mostly stick to Sim City and Civilization. There are some Dos games I dig into, but I really don't play new stuff as much. I might try Hotline Miami, but that is about it. Now building my own games, yep.

Wondering what reason there are to play SimCity (4 or 5) Beyond looking at pretty buildings, what is there to the game? To me it is nurturing a city and then a region until it becomes something larger than life. Also you notice how it takes on it's own little culture. I also like the mods as it kee...

Have any of you dug into the Internet Archive's Game Collection? There are some real gems in there and many you can play from your browser. I really enjoyed Tokyo Wars but plan on diving into some other titles as time permits.

Now I will grant you there might be more that they are not letting on, but after going through a good chunk of their documents, I don't recall seeing arresting LGBTQ people or other things. Did I see neoconservatism on full display and some other worrying stuff? Yeah. Is most of it weak pandering BS...

I think I could work as a gardener for rich people. They have estates and would like people to take care of pretty flowers. Landscapers typically don't have a clue as to how to properly care for plants or even know what plants they should buy! Most likely I'd get to work all alone when the guys who...

Autistic people who can, often do. But, starting a business is rather involved if you want to be successful. It's a large part of why I'm getting an accounting certificate. Good call on accounting. I would get my apprenticeship, but I doubt most firms would allow part time work with my job. Good on...

I know this is going to sounds a bit heady, but after reading things like Edward Bernays, Marshall McLuhan, and Carl Jung, things can seem so abstracted that they don't seem real. For instance, I know many of us are a bit more resistant to propaganda than neurotypicals, so when you see simple things...

I also use DuckDuckGo for everything. No real issues with it, though I wish they had an "advanced search" system. Those seem to have died out everywhere. My problem with current search engines in general is that they don't understand the word "not." Often I'm trying to find some...

Absolutely. It's a nightmare! On the plus side, you're in a city. I'm in the middle of nowhere out in the countryside. Personally my main issue is location. I meant to sort out getting a new driving instructor but I kept forgetting about it. I don't know whether to focus on lessons and try to get a...

Hi! I don't know about you, but with inflation being so high and paying the same, I have decided to look for a new jobs. I did get call backs from places outside where I live. But then after I got turned down for a few jobs, the number of jobs in my industry in that jobs dropped sharply in a month (...
