Did you know that the punch cards used in the holocaust were developed by IBM? Shocking. Also, it is worth considering the Rosenhan experiment http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosenhan_experiment and the other related experiments in regard to diagnosis/misdiagnosis. |

They don't want to give a straight answer for business reasons. Politicians do this also, they do not lie but tell the truth about something unrelated. It is, of course, infuriating. |

Yes, the hackney-eyed phrases are extremely irksome. I hate TV and cannot watch it. |

I am self-critical also. I think it drives my interests, to get things the way I think it should be, perfectionism. Producing music for example, after 18 months of work, I am still not happy with the track, so I go back in, it sounds good for a while, then my ears deconstruct things, and soon I am t... |

I grind/press down on my teeth during the night. I stopped it for a while but seem to be doing it again recently. I think it is to do with stress. |

I am not a mason but I am very interested in the symbolism and history of masonry. I definitely do think it has a darker side. I guess it would seem like a nice social club but until the mason reaches the highest degree they will not know what is actually going on. |

Personally I think what he did was great. We live in a world where governments, corporations and institutions hold vast amounts of data on us and yet their actions are concealed behind a smokescreen of 'security'. I think it's a great political statement and I am glad it hasn't gone the same way as ... |

I had the same problem at work with colleagues playing radio all day. I found it very hard to concentrate on what I was supposed to be doing, especially as my job involves listening. The noise of the office and the radio as well as phones was a nightmare and for 6 months we also had demolition work ... |

No TV here. I much prefer to read, make music, study, play 3ds. I generally find most TV programmes annoying and boring anyway. I occasionally get harrassed by TV licencing agency who don't believe this is possible and basically treat people without tvs as guilty until proven innocent. |

I have been thinking about this recently based on revision I am doing for a psychology exam. The cognitive psychological perspective sees people as 'information processors', constantly analysing the social world, whereas the phenomenological view (based on existentialism) describe people as 'pre-ref... |

I'm still not very sure what the point of eye contact is and it always feels intense.
Only realised people were supposed to make eye contact through careers-type training post-college, so consciously force myself to make eye contact in job interviews, but the rest of the time avoid. |

I agree it is baffling why they don't just say hopefully I will ring you by time X, then at least you would know there is a chance they may not. I think a G.P. should be a bit more aware. However there is a chance they may have genuinely intended to ring but got called to an emergency or somthing. |
