I was never asked to prom per se, but I was invited by some of my friends. I had to decline, however, due to the overwhelming music and other sounds I feared I would encounter there.

I still have another shot at it senior year.

I used to be terrible with crowds and parties. For me it's mostly the noise and sensory things nowadays that get me nervous. :P
