| How can a democracy, like the US, be an empire? An empire is a dictatorship, not a democracy. I think its more like Multi-national corporations are hidden empires, but not the US. I guess you will say that Iroquis 5 state nation was an empire too. Or that Switzerland is an Empire, because of its ban... |

Is Germany a US state or territory? or for that matter, Britain (there were alot of US troops ther for awhile), France, Italy, Japan, Cuba, the Phillipines?
