Thanks for trying to help, Lemert. Funny thing is, the disastrous person we saw was part of Geller's group practice in NYC. We had an eval with Geller, which was OK, but we were less-then-impressed with her "professionalism" for a couple of reasons. So it's doubtful we'd return there unless we were ...

Hmmmm . . . I agree with much of what Bookworm said, regarding hoarding and such. Are you holding onto the stuff out of an inability to let go of Mom? It seems that, much like work (which tends to expand or contract to fill the time allotted to it), holding on to "stuff" could do the same thing. Now...
