I'm going to keep being friends with her....I'm stronger than I think I am (I hope). Maybe I'll get over her one day, but i don't want to give her up as a prescence in my life. So, so few people understand me. It's addictive when someone treats you with kindness. I'll accept her kind...

...after I told her that I loved her....So she wants to still hang out, but I'm not so sure. I love her, but couldn't see the signs. Damn AS...I couldn't see it coming for s**t. TOTALLY misread her body language. Turns out she is affectionate with everyone, and our period of dating was just a fling....

Had a seizure last week. Lost my balance (that's the early warning system I think) Then lost consciousness....woke up with a broken cheekbone. Other times I bump into stuff/ trip and fall.I don't know if it's an actual equilibrium issue, like vertigo/inner ear disorder...or if I'm just clumsy as hell.

I am learning to say "please, thankyou, hello and goodbye" in every major language. It's important to me that people are kind and courteous. Society would be much more pleasant if it were quiet and orderly IMO. I do, however often forget myself in a social situation. In those cases I try to contact ...

I like this Daniel person more and more each post. I admit that I seek attention. I'm an extrovert. But then again, I didn't know that there was a need to deny it or some kind of special criteria to look up to as an aspie. To me, that's the worst aspect of AS...the struggle to decipher social code. ...

Sorry Gabrielle...are you speaking to me, or the OP?

I tend to get lost in my own monolouge. I'm practicing being a better listener. :)

I understand that poverty is one of the most adverse effects of Asperger's Syndrome. Money is the best treatment. :P I'm steadily working on my master plan. Writing seems to be my way out of this rattrap. (I need computers and two-wheeled conveyances...and I have to take care of my animals and trees...

dictionaries rule ^_^ My second favourite tome next to the Encyclopedia (World Book). As for the OP...yes, I have had many a day when I wished to be a part of the normal flow of things. "Someone to hold me" and overcoming my aversion to touch, and all of that. Going out for a few beers with my chum...

50/50 for me...self-delusion is a powerful motivator, but the truth builds effective coping skills. I wouldn't prosper without a healthy dose of both fantasy and reality.

I have been called "glass face" or "robot" more than once since childhood. As an adult, people have come to me and asked if I was a cop or military due to my rigid (I assume) posture/features. I have mastered two forced smiles, the closed mouth, and the slightly open mouth. The usually elicits a res...
