Rocking feels refreshing to me, when I need it. Though, I don't do it much...and prefer where I'm sitting to not make noise as I move.

In my case, I am not obviously autistic. I am level 1 for autism symptoms, on disability and haven't learned how to drive yet. Some of my skills are not close to the same level which throws some professionals off...I still live with my mom and was barely able to complete mainstream high school (without special education or an aide).

Arevelion, yes there is.

Performance seems to test how you might use critical thinking skills, visual-spatial skills and logic to solve problems. This seems to show up when for me when having to adapt to new situations and I'm not sure what to do, as it is beyond what I know or am familiar with.

I scored 22, so I guess am both. Most of my senses are hypersensitive, but sound is the most triggering for me. I have some alexithymia also.

Out in public is when I stim more, as there is more stimulation than in my home...plus I do it to concentrate for long periods of listening.

Mainly I get my support from my faith in God, from my mom, cats, church family, advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP, like a psychiatrist) and the government.

At the time I was diagnosed, the words 'mild' or 'high-functioning' were not used in my case of AS...

I wonder why, for some research studies, the IQ cutoff score is 80 (instead of 70)?
