I followed the diet pretty strictly for a couple of months, then I started to have kidney trouble and I had to be operated for it. :( It may be a coincidence, but no one in my family ever had any disease of the kind, so I wonder if there could have been a link. I did feel an awful lot better on the ...

I have pretty good reading retention, I won an inter-school contest when I was younger, first choice of the school for the competition but the youngest one on the school team. I still read a lot, about a book a day, recently. I aim to become a writer. I can spend a good deal of time with a book yet ...

I found something pretty interesting regarding the diet. http://www.enzymestuff.com/dietsgfcf.htm http://www.enzymestuff.com/offdiet.htm Supposedly, instead of restricting the intake of gluten and casein, you could take enzymes to simply digest them better. Makes sense. Does anyone has any experienc...

If I had to choose now I'd chose to stay like I am. I'll soon have my university diploma and enter the real world, and since I'm willing to pretty much dedicate my life to my career, I hope to succeed at it. If I don't, well that's that, it's going to be too late for me to change anyway. One thing I...

Ordering can get pretty costly if you're a student not living in the USA. :( Still, I'm just a couple days into it with some more or less strict ones at the beginning, but I think I finally found a diet that works for me. I'm starting to feel better than I have in a long time, maybe a bit edgy for n...

Sure you can have one or the other or both. And sure the practician can misdiagnose, and in a way he has to because there's no such thing as a completely accurate diagnosis. The names of the diseases don't represent anything concrete, just a more or less strict group of symptoms, some more common, s...

That diet is really hell to follow. You can't eat anything you find in a normal grocery store! It's hard not to mistakenly take something that contains gluten or casein... Every single food I like seems to contain them... anyway, hope I'll still be able to follow it through even if I only make it gr...

The only official iq test I had was a good while ago, it was either 150 or 155. Yet I seem to be getting stupider with age, I often find I have progressively more difficulty to concentrate (I'm 21). I'm starting the gluten/casein free diet, hopefully it will help for that.

I just started a couple of days ago to eat a diet that didn't contain gluten or casein, eating mostly fruits, vegetables, nuts and fish, and for me the change was almost instantaneous. I had a lot more energy, could think more clearly and was more talkative/sociable. It was like the first time I was...

To me it doesn't seem like a good idea. While it may be sad, I think most people are quick to label people and, be it asperger or any other condition, they just lump them all in the category of "mental ilnesses", after what they can't relate t you as they would to their peers, but can only treat you...

Doesn't the behavior part of it makes you think of some aspies? http://www.boingboing.net/2005/08/04/new_police_guideline.html <i> According to the newspaper, the guide recommends that if lethal force is needed to stop some... |

I used to work as a projectionnist in a theater and it was pretty cool, I'd say it's a great job for aspies.
Right now I'm trying to be a writer/filmmaker and also looking to start a small company with one or two of my friends since I don't really like to have to work "supervised". |

I used to do Tae-Kwon do, after that I did Capoeira, and after that Muay Thai. Right now I'm not doing anything because of university but I'd like to start again either capoeira or muay thai this summer.
