Down to business - windows XP doesn't mean it's a weak computer - the processor, RAM, video card and hard drive will (especially if the drive is clogged full. If you have no idea what your PC's specs are, hit the START button, choose RUN and type "DXDIAG" Let me know what processor you have, how mu...

Uh yeah, you're 20 years old. None of this should be relevant or an issue unless you're severely handicapped. With my current motor skills there are things I can not do. I type using my index fingers only. I could never ride a bike so how could I drive a car? I have a very short attention span (tha...

Why can't you buy your own upgrades? Your parents got you a computer, and all you can do is complain about how it's not good enough and they should give you MORE, MORE, MORE. My parents take all my money because they feel they need it more than I do. I lost $3000 dollars for paying bills for utilit...

Last Christmas, my parents got me a computer of my own so I wouldn't be using theirs too much. My parents use a Windows Vista computer (now currently with a failing graphics card that renders all PC games using the Source SDK engine unplayable). The computer I received is a used and severely downgra...

I have misophonia. I can totally relate to the OP. I have been kept awake at night by someone's breathing - not even snoring, just breathing. I have learned to use earplugs, but certain low frequency sounds come right through and drive me crazy. In my neighborhood there are city trucks that travel ...

That's a nice suggestion but I've already tried that years ago. It doesn't work. My hearing is too sharp. Sound can still hurt me no matter what even if I do wear earplugs. All I can do is wish I could go completely deaf someday but then I'd have to give up listening to music. Besides, I could neve...

Some timers are probably necessary in a sense of adding intensity to a situation like a collapsing building. Oh and FYI... The Simpsons: Hit and Run gets a lot more tedious and annoying when it comes to the last mission on the last level... Car is hardly controllable, can't crash into walls or cars...

I can explain to you what your parents apparently failed to explain: if you start a fight with that person just for doing that, you can end up in jail. That is called assault. You just cannot go around hurting people because they are hurting you without knowing. And no, people will not get used to ...

You should look up "misophonia" -- getting used to it might be a concept only possible for those who don't have it. From the Wiki page (link) : Misophonia, literally “hatred of sound,” is a form of decreased sound tolerance. It is believed to be a neurological disorder characterized by negative exp...

We all have songs that boost our confidence and give us the motivation we need. What song gets you energetic? Oh sh**, you're in Hagerstown? I'm not too far from where you are. Ever heard of Newville, PA? If not, what about Carlisle or Shippensburg? I'm right between both of those. I live several m...
