How often do you do it? What motives do you need? I find it difficult to understand when it's acceptable to talk to strangers and when it isn't. What age students will your book focus on?

I skimmed through Working with Asperger Syndrome in the Classroom: An Insider's Guide yesterday, it had some sound advice but mostly focused on primary school children.

Another good book is Aspergers in Love: Couple Relationships and Family Affairs. It has a section on sex and how many people with AS can find it difficult, especially if they have some hypersensitivity to touch.

It's like if cartoon characters all changed hairstyles and clothing. You wouldn't be able to tell who's who any more.

For some reason I always keep a blank tab open to the right, and habitually Ctrl+Tab between it and my other tabs.

Another for North East England here. I hope someone takes the plunge and organizes something! Manchester would be fine too, assuming I could travel there okay . Been to Manchester often? Only once, though someone took me there by car. I could get the train. Did you enjoy your visit to Manchester? I...

I've gotten quite good at buying things in shops. Sometimes I can seem quite pleasant and casual for short bursts, and it makes me proud of myself. I even have a few scripted responses for particular situations. e.g. if I'm buying an age-restricted product, I'll say, "Would you like to see my ID? It...

I get ESA for anxiety and depression. They will keep asking for sick notes at least until you attend a medical assessment. Jobcentre Plus will send you reminders telling you that your sick note is about to expire, but it's usually less than a week before the deadline, so it might be worth booking a ...

From what I have read, not everybody has one permanent special interest. Sometimes AS folk get bored of one thing and move on to the next. My focused interest changes a lot, though the only real trigger for change is boredom and which books are available at the library. For example, one week I read ...
