| Basic training will be rough, but keep in mind nothing they say is personal. They want you to be the best you can be, and they use a very tough love approach. It's not personal. After basic training, it should become a decent gig and the GI Bill is a nice perk. Plus, I would suggest getting into a ... |

| Nogyro could be on to something. I worked at two CVS locations. One was really nice and fun to work at, the other was very unpleasant. If your unhappy, put in job apps elsewhere, maybe you could try to transition to part time. Also, they have online school if you don't like going to campus. Not tha... |

| Sorry, I forgot I started this thread & now it's gotten really long. A lot of interesting points here. First off I will (repeat, I think) that I didn't even get diagnosed with ADHD/non-attentive type until I was in my 40s, following my son's diagnosis, who was also diagnosed with ADHD/non-attent... |

My sister makes a decent living as a freelance writer, mostly magazine articles.
For the first ten or fifteen years after she graduated from college, though, I know she worked at a lot of temporary office type jobs to supplement the income from writing. |

| I haven't been diagnosed with any autism condition and I doubt that I will pursue diagnosis although I definitely can identify with a lot of the traits, but ADHD/non-attentive type is among the many diagnoses I have accumulated. My son was diagnosed with the exact same disorder but in his case they ... |

| You have probably thought of this already, but is there anything you are good at, or that you really enjoy doing? If so, you can try to think of ways to make money with one or more of your interests. I didn't have the confidence (I was not raised to have the confidence) to think I could be an entrep... |

| Yes. I signed a contract. I would advise you not to expect any promises to be kept unless they are part of the contract. Recruiters lie. They have to. In a way, of course, I understand the attraction. After all, I joined the military myself. There are things to like about it. It's very structured, ... |

| Yes, I have this. It wasn't until a few years ago that I realized there was a name for it. In fact, until coming across it on the internet, I kind of thought everybody was the same as me in that way. When I was in the military (a long time ago) I would always excel at (non-physical) testing, nearly ... |

Hi
I just happened to see your post in the "new posts" over at the side.
Wondering if you have already signed a contract with them? |
