Hey, all! I joined this site a few years ago, but then life got in the way and I haven't been here in a couple years. The layout of the site looks way different than it did when I left. 8O (Trying to adjust to that.) Anyway, I've come to realize that I miss having some sort of community, I've felt k... |

How do Atheists negotiate right and wrong? It's rather simple. I treat others the way I'd like to be treated. What if you're a masochist? I'm a masochist. I like pain... Under certain circumstances. I don't enjoy some stranger beating me without my consent. I assume most other people don't either..... |

I didn't. It was mandatory all through Elementary School, I didn't have an issue with it then. All Middle School and High School plays were voluntary, and it wasn't until then that it had any effect on me. I'm not sure I could handle one now, though I'd be much more likely to attempt than I was back... |

I barely use Skype, in fact I only use it to converse with one other person through IM and occasionally audio call, because I don't have a webcam atm. I didn't even know there was such thing as a "Group" on Skype. I suppose I might join one though, if there were. |

I am a hybrid of a kinesthetic and visual learner. I am not an auditory learner at all. I need to see or do something to learn it, hearing tends not to work so well. :shameonyou: I have a difficult time "visualizing" things, but if I see it, in some sort of visual form, I typically have it down. I like to draw (or rather sketch) and even though others tell me I'm good, I only consider myself mediocre at best. Still, I have been accused of "cheating" until they see me attempt to trace something (and fail miserably). I also got accused of cheating at academics when I was younger. Once I misse... |

No, I did not. During Elementary School, I rode the long bus to and from. During Middle School, my grandmother drove me to and I alternated between riding the long bus and walking from. During High School, I alternated between my grandmother driving me and walking to and walking from. I only ever ro... |

Yes, it took me awhile to "get" that. I heard more than once how people felt I talked at them rather than to them. >.< I have found that I tend to prefer the "company" of non-neurotypical people, however, I've only ever had the privilege of "meeting" them online; offline 'tis only neurotypicals. Per... |

I, personally, don't think I need a "cure", nor do I want one. That being said, I believe that people should be able to live as they please (so long as they are competent and do not bring non-consensual harm to others). I would support a "cure" being found solely for the reason that I think a compet... |

Systemizing quotient test 0 - 19 = low 20 - 39 = average (most women score about 24 and most men score about 30) 40 - 50 = above average (most people with Asperger Syndrome or high-functioning autism score in this range) 51 - 80 is very high (three times as many people with Asperger Syndrome score i... |
