I thought I'd share a bad work experience that occurred somewhat recently. After finishing school, I was offered a position at a fairly small company. To keep it simple, my role involved performing routine tests in a laboratory. I decided to take the job since it was related to what I went to school...

But my rule of thumb is always talk to your neighbors first before complaining to the landlord. Last time I knocked on their door to politely ask them to quiet down they didn't open the door. (I was knocking loudly enough.) Once I started banging on the floor, and one of them had the audacity to ye...

Does anyone else ever feel distressed or have panic attacks when their neighbors are noisy? My downstairs neighbors often play music very loudly or blast their television. It doesn't bother me at first, but after 30 minutes to an hour I start to feel really anxious. Sometimes I'll even have panic at...

So, I successfully texted the guy I like and we hung out today. I'm sure that he doesn't have a girlfriend already. Next time I see him in person I want to confess my feelings. How should I phrase it? I was thinking along the lines of "You know, I really like you. I'd like to be be more than friends...

I want to text the guy I like, but I feel like I might be bothering him if I do. We're getting to be pretty good friends, but I'm not sure when he works...it's Sunday night so it's a good chance he's free. Do you think if I send him one text saying "hi" or "what's up" he'll be annoyed?

I met this guy at my school (college) a few months ago and we started talking on Facebook. We'd stay up late chatting about all sorts of things. Lately, I realized that I like him in a romantic sense. The other night I told him my room number, and he replied, "I'll keep it in mind~". I'm sure he was...

Has anywhere ever commuted to college? I'm thinking about commuting next year. I have about a 45 minute drive. Since I can't stand living in a dorm, I think it is the best option for me.

I go to a liberal arts school that strongly encourages community service, but it isn't required for graduation. I think the rationale behind this is to teach students how to become functional members of society by teaching them how to do things for other people and the environment and teaching them ...
