It depends.
If I'm made aware of it prior to it happening and given a chance to consent, I don't mind.
If it's a situation like a wedding or party and candid photos are being taken at random - no way.
Posing for pictures with other people is awkward too.

I haven't been on Wrong Planet in a while, so here is a current photo to commemorate my return.

I finished my antibiotics yesterday, and I am surprised at how much better I feel now that my tooth is gone. I guess when you have to deal with constant pain and infection for two years, you start to block it out mentally and forget how it feels to be any other way. Another task was removed from my ...

Well, I'm back with some updates. I got my tooth pulled last week. The dentist finally understood the severity of the situation when I left him a message describing my constant bloody nose. I went in last Tuesday for an emergency extraction, and literally AS SOON AS my tooth was out, my nose stopped...

Welcome!
I really like your name; it makes me think of a cross between Squirtle and Snorlax, which is quite an amusing image.
I'm sorry if Pokemon references are a little too much as a first interaction.

I hope you enjoy Wrong Planet. :)

Nice picture! :) And HollowJD, I agree with auntblabby; that kind of negative self-talk does nothing but bring you down. When you are feeling that way, try to think of at least one thing you like about you...

I thought the page was quite pathetic at first, and was ready to ignore it, but looking into it further I saw there were several comments made that were simply disgusting and graphically offensive. I won't even repeat them here, but it involved non-consentual actions of a sexual nature being committ...

I spent three and a half weeks in a psychiatric hospital for a suicide attempt. It was a terrible experience. The doctors were so quick to judge me based on the circumstances that landed me in that position that I wound up with a "diagnosis" of Borderline Personality Disorder the same day I was cour...

I had the same problem when I was younger and tried to be more social. The males I associated with were into video games, anime, science fiction, and other things that I liked, so we got along well. Their girlfriends became so upset about me being friends with them (and at one point, living temporar...

http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5338/9234501535_881831bcf9_n.jpg I changed my hair to feel a bit more summer-y a week or so ago. The photo doesn't really do the color justice; its a combination of orange/pink/coral. I actually feel decent about how I look for once in a long while, though I still have...

Most of the time, I don't notice that I am stimming unless someone points it out to me or I become aware through some external means (bumping into something, my friend putting a hand on my shoulder to inform me, etc.) I generally do not try to stop myself unless I am aware that it is harmful or it i...

I have an issue with being forgetful and needing to make several trips through the house to be fully prepared, but people haven't been complaining about it too much lately. I think they've gotten used to it. The trait that has been getting complaints recently is the fact that I have to address peopl...

I am considering an assistance dog for myself currently. I certainly do not have the funds or the means to support one at this time, but were the timing ever correct, I feel like I could really benefit from having a service dog. As well as having AS, I also have severe anxiety/agoraphobia, PTSD, non...

I'm on SSI, but I didn't even have my AS diagnosis when I applied/was approved. I also have severe anxiety/agoraphobia, depression, non-epileptic seizures, PTSD, and minor OCD. I had to leave my last job almost two years ago due to seizing at work over the stress it caused, and have been unemployed ...
