They were a hugely influential band, even if their lack of mainstream success in the US would seem to indicate otherwise.

While I was never into them, I know many of the bands I enjoy site them as influences, chief among them Deftones and in particular Chino Moreno.

In the opinion of many bilically adherent Christians, all metal, and popular music in general, rap, country, whatever, is Satanic.

I lived according to very fundamentalist biblical views, and among them was this concept.

I know they, are very much an aquired taste, but few bands wrote and performed with the pure expression and passion that these men did. I was fortunate enough to have seen th play their last show on the 29th.... Creativity and originality in the world of heavy music will never be the same. Thanks guy...

Well, contrary to most here, I dislike most 'metal' subgenres ending with metal lol... Im all 'core' for the most part... In particular I dislike power, folk, viking or black metal. Juat cant get into it. I happen to really like the kinds most of you hate, in particular Mathcore, Numetal and Metalco...

Ya know, at one time I was exactly like you. Still kinda am... In May of 2016 I went to the Dr after having a multitude of troubling symptoms. I dont have insurance, so I had whatever tests I could afford that were unsurprisingly inconclusive. I was 38 feeling like I was going on 70. No energy, cons...

Depends on what excersise you do with it on, but it certainly burns more calories, thus speeding up weight loss. Your muscles will have to work harder, and in the case of just walking, the usually mostly uninvolved core and back muscles will be incorporated more. Bottom line is, if your sweating and...

I love music and my favorite part is always the singer/vocalist. A great one can make a mediocre project quite good, while a terrible one can destroy an otherwise great band. My all time favorites: Chino Moreno (Deftones/Crosses/Team Sleep/Palms) Courtney LaPlante (Iwrestledabearonce/Spiritbox/Unicr...

Guess a lot of it depends on what you consider good lyrics. I mean, classic rock had its share of terrible lyrics too. The 80s were filled with mostly useless lyrics also across most genres. I do agree with you though that based on what I consider good, there is very very little to choose from. I pe...
