The only way I pick up on sarcasm is if it's said in that over-the-top sarcastic voice, if I know the person well, or if it's something completely unfathomable. If I think it's real, I just say, "oh okay." If I think it's fake, I chuckle. Sometimes I'm wrong. The one that gets me most is w...

I notice that people forget that they've already asked me things before. I've had the same conversation with people and they seem to have no idea. I am not sure if they just don't retain it because they don't care to (just asking to be polite), or if they are simply forgetful.

I did awful. I thought it would be easier. They were making very weird faces. Most of what I figured out was through process of elimination.

I know for me, the symptoms are more pronounced in adulthood. My experience in the "real world" has been a constant struggle to obtain a sense of serenity, which currently only seems to manifest itself from distraction. I realized that being independent and having to do everything yourself...

People have referred to me as having sass (and similar words), but I don't know if they are joking or not. I try to be nice as possible in every situation, so I don't really know if it's sarcasm or genuine.

I always laugh when I see a wall of text because I think of this picture: http://i1.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/392/685/a9c.png When you are writing something, it should be like a waterfall, meaning each sentence should pour the reader from line to line effortlessly. That goes both for th...

I loathe even when superiors do that sort of thing. It's a big peeve of mine when they critique something you did perfectly simply for the sake of providing input. In that regard, it doesn't seem to be about power to me, but more as positive reinforcement for themselves that their role as a leader i...

Only with strangers really. When I worked in retail, if I had to go and get something from the back for someone, I would emerge from the stockroom and have no idea who I got the item for. Then I would have to use context clues to try and find them. It was horrible.

I have anxiety sometimes, most of which comes from me having to do things I don't want to do. This often involves me interacting with people in ways I don't wish to. I don't really care what people think of me, but I do hate screwing up and social interaction in itself is stressful and tiring. I don...
