Hey momof1. I should start by clarifying that I am not diagnosed. However, it's pretty clear to me that I am, if that is any consolation. Basically, how you described your son, is basically how I felt my whole academic life. I have serious problems paying attention, I get bored, so I result to day d...

Perhaps you may be better off asking this on some..pro-dating forum haha.
I'm not the best person to comment, so I can't throw my 2 pennies in. But congratulations on finding someone who you're compatible with |

I feel a song summarises this perfectly. Listen to a song called 'Ugly side' by Blue October. I have 3 friends basically. One who I have grown up with. The other 2 I met at uni (both girls) One girl, im at the stage you mentioned, there are periods where there is silence. I'm not that comfortable wi...

I can't even be bothered to begin listing mine.. I will put this one out there though. Soap shops. Like the ones you walk past and it absolutely pollutes the whole area. I have nearly been brought to my knees when they are around. It's just so over-powering, like it goes straight to my head. Anyone ...

All the time. Worst is when I'm crossing the road. I get this shiver in my spine like a car could hit me so I have to get across the road as fast as I can. But I do have it in other scenarios, but always when crossing a road. It's not like I know anyone who has been hit by one either.. :S

I was always fascinated by way the numbers changed on the digital flip clocks I would sit there for hours when I was a kid just watching the numbers change. Ok..now I want to know how that works.. I know what you mean OP, but it doesn't interest me enough to find out how something works, I just lik...

I have one in April, need to do it for me to pass my module. It's in a small group thankfully. I don't know how I'm going to tackle it. I really really prefer to read from a sheet, I've done it without and it just goes to sh**. I can't think, I'm too busy thinking about bloody eye contact. Then eve...

I hate public speaking. Introductions are superficial and I'm not good at it either. Having said that, public speaking is a great skill to learn. There's always Toastmasters to help with confidence. I know teachers who hate public speaking as well - surprisingly enough. It's the #1 phobia. It's nor...

I don't think you can top parents when it comes to long term relationships haha (unless they're dead...which your mum isn't in this case, so no worries) I actually like brushing hands. It's the closest I come to touching people. But in those circumstances, it's me doing it by choice. If it's the rev...

Not diagnosed, but I've always hated been touched. I used to run from people if they went to touch me. These days, I'm not as bad. I will flinch or jump when I'm not expecting it. But otherwise, I don't get touched much. Other than family, I've only had a handful of hugs, and I didn't particularly e...

I live in student accomodation, there is so much noise that I wouldn't ever be able to sleep. I have to play classical music on the radio to act as a blanket. I focus on that as best I can. If not, I have to put up with doors slamming and opening, people walking and talking upstairs, people screamin...
