Anything with the word buffet is going to be heavily dosed with MSG. That is a neurostimulator. That is a drug that affects the brain which can result in GI distress as well as a huge host of other symptoms, many of which are entirely hidden to observers and difficult to decipher to the sufferer. Li...

Restaurants have changed their food drastically in the last year or so. MSG and chemical additives, some that are neurostimulators, have flooded our food supply, especially at restaurants. He is most likely suffering the same reaction I have. I eat out at one of three places, less than once a month....

I sent an email to Alex in support of ending the attacks on women. I'm confused as to why this can be a debate. I primarily interact with hfa people and the men don't display the attitudes I see here. It has greatly curtailed my interest in using this site.

I'm in a similar situation. I can't finish one of my degrees on campus because of health and I'm essentially done with the degree. To switch to an online school, you're probably going to have to switch majors and start over. The schools I have talked to don't like the idea of doing all the same clas...

Most US courts have, or are moving to the new 50/50 model where the child floats between two permanent homes. There is no benefit for either parent financially or otherwise. Maternal custody has been on the decline since the 80s but I'm sure you ladies here in the Women's Discussion are aware of that.

I don't think that you are well matched. You sound responsible and he doesn't. That causes people to fight. You can still learn from this relationship and know how to better interact with people. Some communication books say to set a timer for 15 minutes then take a 5 minute break. Try writing down ...

My point. Women know what they want. Here they are clearly stating that they want equality. In other words, basic human rights.

This is non debatable.

I think there is a psychology to the reason or way the arguments are stated to a feminist by a person who is anti-woman. I say person because I am sometimes shocked to see some of the worst offenders can be women. Women who shame other women. I've found that I avoid scenes where those types congrega...

Try elimination diets before the doctor. You may find out it is a food sensitivity or allergy. Possible causes are wheat, gluten, dairy, caesin, msg, dyes, preservatives, etc. Some may take longer than a week to test. A doctor will give meds to cover symptoms. The meds can cause side effects often w...

Depending on your household. A dog, like a child, does better in a structured calm environment. A lot of aspies seem to like rabbits or other unusual pets like lizards. Rabbits are quiet and calm. They will potty train and do not need yard time. People can be allergic, similar to cats. I would not g...

Intellectual conversation keeps my relationship going. We both find other people frustratingly lazy and slow. It is especially annoying when they don't understand and are judgmental. We seek understanding. We find their averageness to be weird but know enough not to say so or treat them like morons....

I agree. There is a huge deficit in services for adults, especially women. Even in major cities that have services for children, there are none for women. They refuse to work with adults and have no recommendations or referrals. It appears that is it a money issue. Parents will throw money are their...

Is there any difference besides the color tint, such as anti glare or additional filtering? I had the first exam. I've found the overlay for computer use and only wearing my prescription sunglasses which are similar in shade to the overlays has nearly eliminated my constant migraines. I am wondering...

If you are just looking for friends, perhaps she is looking for a relationship and realized after a little while that the game was not an invitation to be taken on a date. She may not want to waste her own income and time on a friendship with a man (when they generally also want to go to bed) when s...

Marriage counselors are astoundingly anti-marriage. The field already has poor results. Nearly all of them are clueless about aspies. If you are HFA, they will be very intimidated and probably not believe your intellect is real. That will get you an instant false diagnosis. They prefer the emotional...
