As for where I live, that is hardly your concern. As to whether or not you think I'm special, I've lived all this time never once having worried about whether or not you like me. As for you hating everybody; knock yourself out! You have the right to sit around stewing in hatred. To me, hate is like ...

The state of being a racist (which most humans are despite swearing to the contrary & the scientific fact that race is a social construct not a biologically based fact!) and disliking a particular individual because of the group to which you think he belongs and being in the position (empowered ...

Hi Peops. If we as a society are going to subject Gays to the same legal responsibilities & same taxation as straight people, they must have the same rights & privileges under the law. Whether or not some legislator's religion forbids it is not the issue. There can be no second class citizen...

Hi! I have As & I have 2 kids. the thing I find challenging is that as an As person, I have a tremendous need for solitude. Children, however, require a large amount of your time and mental/emotional attention & energy. they cannot be 'turned off' and put away when you're not in the mood. I'...

I agree with all the other posters on this one. I am an Aspie with 2 teens and a husband I'd bet $ is a rapid-cycling bipolar. Since he's high-functioning & very successful, his behaviour gets written off as 'driven' (not OCD) efficient (not tyrannical, bullying & abusive)hard working (not w...

Girl Guide cookies are pretty good but the chocolate ones taste like wax & ashes. Go buy yourself some Oreos; not the double stuff ones or the mediocre new flavours. Get the original ones or, if you're feeling wild and crazy, get the white ones. They're not the same as Girl Guide cookies, but th...

My mother does this; she calls me once. Then remembers something she didn't tell me the first time so she calls me back. Then, she discovers something she finds interesting on tv and calls to tell me about it. Usually some lame musical from the forties or fifties I'd rather die than watch. Then she ...

I hate all tags with a burning passion & I remove them religiously. I hate scratchy lace, wool touching my skin-I like only the finest cashmere that doesn't scratch. I hate panty hose nylons, polyester, tight jeans, thin socks, collared shirts, blouses, THONGS, any t-shirt that pinches at the ar...

Not really; actually, not at all. Sometimes I wonder about this, though; I've read that folks are supposed to care what those 'close' to them think about them. I only care as to how & whether it affects me.
