Wasps are my biggest issues, they seem to attack so many senses coming at you aggressively like an obnoxious salesperson (never liked them much either) it's the buzzing sound, the fact that i don't know where it's coming from sometime, the colour combination of black and yellow, the proximity and my...

This drives me crazy, every hairdresser always wants to know if I'm going out that night, I'm not, I just need my hair cutting because I just do. Tried making appointments only for Tuesdays or Wednesdays, still i get the same questions No Idea how I'm supposed to respond to any of this I don't care ...

I picking up more now I know I'm supposed to look at people. Still miss most of everything and highly tuned perhaps over tuned to tone of voice or any gestures that involve sound.

I upset people by just opening my mouth or not opening my mouth and just being there, don't know why. Possibly to much detail or back story in my explanations of things. I upset them even more by asking what I did to upset them. If I really want to make them angry I just explain that what is normal ...

I had a similar problem last week, I can't work out if it my interpretation of other people is way off as common things don't seem to upset them the way they do me. The lady in the bank last week told me a cheque with no name I forgot to look at before handing over was the most dangerous thing she h...

I am seeing a new therapist as of next week. I don't want it to be another 'simple self esteem issues' disaster. This is seriously effecting my life and labels aside I need support with keeping employment with the communication issues I have. Fact - I present behaviours and traits that make life dif...

To have enough interest in other people to be ready for them when they approach me.
To have the ability to explain
To be aware of the things that seem into general knowledge (useful for conversation) and not so immersed in my own imagination.

I'm not 100% sure if I want the latter

I wasn't bullied, I was ignored and avoided and that hurt but I adapted to this and no longer think about it. A group of girls tried to bully me, I found the experience quiet forgettable. It was unpleasant when it was actually happening. I suppose they got bored in the end I don't think I reacted th...

The ability to make spontaneous conversation with people, even people I know really well like my family. This I believe would lead to many of the the things I find I am lacking in life.

Maybe you are doing this with a certain amount of subconscious deliberation in order to express your inner feelings of loss and unworthiness. This is frequently the kind of thing I'm told about myself, "you don't value your belonging because you don't value yourself". For some people it is just all...

Coming from someone in the exact same predicament I would say yes. I have no confirmed diagnoses but I do defiantly have difficulties with my executive function and this causes me to break, loose, misplace and damage many things that mean a great deal to me. The interesting thing is how much of an i...

I have taken a look to let you know what I think, I'm a bit too far away to take part in anything like this. Some of the content on your website made allot of sense, the idea of updating the way we think to life events is very true, I often feel like I need extra input to respond properly so perhaps...

I don't think this style of dreaming is anything unusual but what you describe, NT's choosing their dreams, to echo an earlier comment I think is a skill to be mastered over years. I do believe the days events and thoughts can affect dreams in the night. Your dreams about little changes in your know...

I didn't mean that this in any way has a relationship to confidence. It is as if I know I have a question, and I know who knows the answer but I just don't connect the the two things and realise I could just ask. When my brain engages I will have no trouble asking, my actual shyness disappeared long...

Often I find myself in situation where I ask myself a question and I am literally stood next to an expert who could give me an answer. But I never actually think to ask the expert the question. The term expert is used loosely, this may be an academic question related to work or it may be me wanting ...

^ For a while I think it was a fad, I don't take much notice of fads so perhaps it still is. Fads are often silly and pointless and so is pretending to have a ASD when you don't. I guess it's not so cool then to be autistic. But I don't care I've never been cool and it's not going to happen now. I g...
