I've always felt the exact same way. It's definitely always felt wrong/awkward/uncomfortable to call people by their name. I'm usually fine if it's a nickname (so I'm usually the one who makes 'em up) or preceded by 'uncle, aunty' etc. but calling them by their name feels very strange. I also feel ...

I was just wondering if anyone else has watched this show, particularly the early seasons? Do you think Cassie is supposed to have aspergers or a similar condition? Sometimes it seems like she might: -she has an eating disorder, which is apparently a common issue with females with autism -she has an...

I know what you’re talking about. I don’t think you’re doing anything “wrong” but they might be confused if you’re not using inflection to signify that you’re joking. I've run into similar situations.

I think I'm a mix of: -Abed Nadir from Community(I tend to compare things to movies and tv shows and I'm a bit obsessive about the shows that I like. I'm empathetic but don't always show it well.) -Liz Lemon from 30 Rock (I mean well and try to do the socially appropriate thing but I tend to overthi...

Season four is definitely my least favorite season so far. Having said that, while none of the episodes this season have made it onto my favorite episodes list, none of them have made it onto my least favorite episode list. I've read some spoilers though that suggest some exciting stuff in upcoming ...

Thank you so much for all the replies. To elaborates a little, I'm really not sure if the social anxiety diagnosis was accurate or not. I think often I'm anxious because I don't know what to say; it's not that I don't know what to say because I'm anxious. You know? As far as traits that make me susp...

Community is tied with Doctor Who as my favorite television show! (I haven't liked this season quite as much as previous seasons but I still enjoy it a lot.)
I also think Abed is the best character on the show (although I like the whole ensemble.) |

I'm not medically diagnosed. But, if my experience helps, my feeling when I discovered the asperger (I discovered it because a movie about it, and then I started to look for information), it was like ' WTF! everything makes sense now! ' For a couple of weeks, I was reading about asperger without st...

Hi, I'm 27, happily married, and have children. Will those things make it unlikely for me to get a diagnosis of ASD? I was diagnosed with social anxiety disorder several years ago and took 80mg Paxil daily. I saw a psychologist once a month and also saw a psychologist every other week. After four ye...
