For those who are interested I voted Lib Dem. The Tory won. I have decided to view this as "I win either way", if the Lib Dem had won I'd have the general politics I wanted on the rise, but as the Tory won at least thee is an Aspie advocate in parliament. So the dance of democracy is over in the UK ...

Well, the day is here and I about to head for the polling station and cast my vote. I think I will go for Lib Dem. The discussion on the BNP in this thread has convinced me that voting Tory, and tacitly supporting the distastful campaign stance they have made on the issue of Immigration and thier un...

OK, so the vote is tomorrow and while this thread has drifted a bit, into discussing a party that isn't even standing here.... I have to make my descision. there are other options, neo... in your case, neotopian, i'd probably go for the lib dems - their policies are a bit more radical, and seem to a...

The national service proposed by this bunch has to be military as it is through this that people would be "trained" to use the assault weapon (not talking rifle or shotgun here) that they would be FORCED to own.

I really do not want to live in that kind of paranoid society

But she was the only MP in the last parliament to do ANYTHING. here are links to her website which includes parliamentary spe...

and for those that mention the bnp (puke).... their policy is compulsary Military National Service and the a legal OBLIGATION to keep a gun and ammo. But thats perhaps one of their more moderate proposals. I'm not sure about the rules here on calling any group a bunch of bigoted, evil fascists who ...

Lab ain't got a hope here. even if I were a labour supporter it would be a wasted vote here Just get that 'X' down next to the lesser of 3 evils and be done with it. Don't mak...

I am in a dilemma. I am not sure who to vote for in next thursdays election. The peculiartiies of the UK electoral system and the total lack of services for ASD in my area have produced a quandry. OK heres how it goes. I can't vote Labour, after what bLIAR did over the war, tuition fees and his ultr...

on the (very) rare occasions I have got hold of some (heck I dont have any friends, how the hell am I supposed to have "contacts"), I have tended to smoke it alone. If I am with some one I find that, as long as I don't overdo it, i become more talkative and sociable. If I am alone or i "overdo" it I...

renegede Neotopian, you are quite right. Except, truth be told, most Americans did not vote for W on November 2, 2004, just as most Americans did not vote for him in 2000. Our exit polls showed that W lost, but according to the neocon minions, the exit polls in Ukraine are far more reliable than exi...
