I have this problem too. When I look at people, they look away quickly, then I feel guilty for trying to look at them at all as if I did something wrong. I don't think I look scary.

I don't think you grow out of it. I think you learn from people along the way and you adapt. Or you have people like my mother who was very patient with when I was younger and pushed me along. That being said, one thing I did use to do when I was young was rock myself to sleep and that I did grow ou...

Dhawal: I've come across the one before, but not the second. Thanks. Or as John himself would put it at the end of his shows: "Peace my friends. Thank you!" Mummy of Peanut: That's a good one. My Mom gets a little cynical when it comes to this song. She says how can he still sing it when he divorced...

I have been a fan of his music since the day I was born. I was born in 1975 when he was at his height fame-wise. My mother was a huge fan and had all his albums. She saw him several times in concert. I saw him once when I was 6 at Canada's Wonderland (would have been 1981 Some Days Are Diamonds Tour...

Why John Denver? He seemed shy and talented... I can't see much beyond that.

Agreed. I would have maybe said bipolar for him. He could be way up high and then sink into deep depressions. Just listen to the lyrics of some of his songs.

I had my doubts about Elementary when I first saw the commercials back in September and didn't watch, but all of the rave reviews I have read here have made me decide to start watching. Fortunately I found a torrent that contains the complete season one in mkv format. I just began the download now. ...

Big X-Files fan here too. Have all seasons on DVD. Have to agree that season 9 was loser. There were some okay episodes, but thet weren't great. That being said, that Brady Bunch episode near the end of that season was kind of humorous. I always have like the two part season seven episode "closure" ...

It's a tie between A Christmas Story and the 1951 Alastair Sim version of A Christmas Carol, in original black and white. That colouring stuff is crap. This movie needs to be in black and white only. The Santa Clause is good to, as is Christmas with the Kranks. Miracle on 34th Street (the original v...

Anybody going to watch this? It looks like it's going to be good. I am wondering about the end, though because eint ehtrailers they make it clear that they can't hear each other speak on either side of the Dome where they could in the book. This must affect the end of the series because at the end o...

Like both Basil Rathbone and Jeremy Brett's Holmes. Ronald Howard's Holmes in the 1953 series was done well, though his Watson (H. Marion Crawford) was a bit of a bumbler. Edward Hardwicke's Watson (Jeremy Brett series) was one of the better Watson's because he wasn't an idiot as many Watson's are p...

I thought the film was well done. A lot of people complain about the close ups. It pulls you into their emotions and keeps you there because there's nowhere to turn and nothing else to look at to distract you from it. as for Crowe's Javert, I think he did it the best he could, and I don't find him t...

I love the Bond films as well. I have all of the them in my DVD collection, except the spoof version of Casino Royale with Peter Sellers and Woody Allen. didn't care for it. Always had a soft spot for Roger Moore's Bond because I grew up with him. I still can recall seeing A View To A Kill in the mo...
