If NT was not an option, then I would even consider being born with a trait or two more. (Let's say a lack of facial expressions and a poor eye contact.) I believe that that way I might have got support in social things before going to school (& getting bullied for multiple years).

I'm just wondering if the "a special interest" -case made all the difference. I do not find it very likely that your answer to that question made a big difference in your case. I think I was five or six when I learned to use the bunny ear method. However, it usually took me time to get it done, so I preferred velcro till I was something like 11 or 12. Nowadays I can do them pretty fast using the bunny ear method.
