Would much prefer that vomiting is implied but not shown. If I see vomiting it can make me vomit or feel queasy for the rest of the day…Shows ...

I have this problem too. My boss has now labelled me as slow and thinks I am not suited to the work... I am sorry I have no solution. My boss expects immediate switch from one topic to another.

She is giving me a really hard time about it and saying that my communication problems are causin :tired: :tired: :tired: :tired: :tired: :tired: :tir...

I can relate to a lot of what you're saying. I have also been having a few problems at work. My manager has referred me to occupational health, we met, that is me my manager and HR representative and my union representative to discuss ways forward and her my AS could be managed. However when the occ...

I had no idea this was an autism thing, just heard it mentioned on a TV show. I have always been drawn to water: lakes, streams, rivers, the sea. I love the sound, the crashing waves and find it mesmerising to watch.

Well I don't think I am a bozo. :-( and I do know how to care for a dog and I do understand the commitment and possible difficulties. I just sometimes think having a pet would help keep me calm. I often look after my parents dog when they are away. Perhaps I was wrong to suggest a service dog, I app...

I actually think service dog would really help me. I wonder if an ordinary dog would do, I get great comfort form spending time with my mum's dog. Obviously a dog needs a special jacket to go places..... Don't think my landlord would agree to it... I couldn't leave a dog all day while I work, so I'd...

Had a job interview today, didn't go well. I was very nervous. The invite said there would be one interviewer but when I turned up there were three. I ummed and Ahhed all the way through and couldn't remember my answers. Then the last question they asked was, "if I were a biscuit what would I b...

I was sent for allergy testing once. When I got there the doctor decided I didn't need it and have been treated for psoriasis ever since. PPP is particularly stubborn and difficult to control, they just don't know enough about it. It makes no difference what I eat either. It is an autoimmune disorde...

I have palmar plantar pustulosis. This is quite a rare form of psoriasis that affects only the palms and soles. Had it about 10 years. It comes and goes, I find that none of the treatments work for very long. It is quite debilitating and people are always asking if I moisturise. Have I tried E45? I ...
