Grandma thinks you're lazy? Big deal!

You need a professional assessment. Talk about your problems with a consultant in your area, and they'll set you up with a psychiatrist. If you have asperger's, he/she will diagnose you, and then you can rub it in your grandma's face!

First off, I just want to quash some of the "aspies can't be social" nonsense that's being posted in response to this guide. Aspies can be social, we aren't all hopeless basket cases. I like to say that anyone who wants social skills is halfway there. Honestly, I socialize like an NT, even though I...

I came to believe in a higher power after years of doubt. The etheric nature of this power is beyond my current understanding, but I believe in one on the basis of complexity starting with my own life and then the world around me. As I grow, my experiences continue to culminate and shape me into the...

I was weaker, two summers ago, at 155 lbs when it came to the heat. Last summer, at 185 lbs I was able to walk 35 minutes to my Clubhouse, in the heat! That was before I've moved into my own place. Our fitness levels are measured by the energy we put forth on a CONSISTENT BASIS. This means we can o...

Welcome! I live in Delhi, ON - a couple of hours below Toronto, close to Lake Erie. I've stayed at resorts in Barrie and Collingwood a couple of times in the last few years. The highlight last time (last October) was the Hummer Tour. Ah yes the fuel-efficient Hummer Tour! I imagine that sort of thi...

Jonathan: I appreciate the effort you spent trying to help us and everything, but the fundamental challenges remain the same. Most of the advice you posted would only be useful if we could actually muster the courage to do the things you've done. Unfortunately, most of it isn't feasible. (IE, starti...
