Waxing is probably the fastest and easiest way to remove the hair, but I know she won't do it. Maybe if I buy the wax stripes and do my eyebrows she'll see it's not that bad. She doesn't like to wear make up, jeans or stuff. Which is okay! Maybe it's a sensory thing? Thanks for all the suggestions.

I know she would never wax them because of the pain. The eye googles are a good idea. I will give it a try. Thanks for the ideas.

My daughter is 17, AS, she unfortunately inherited my eyebrows, if you don't pluck a a lot they become one big eyebrow. I tried to show her how to pluck them, just in the middle so they weren't joined. Her hair dresser tried to talk her into waxing them. instead she shaves them, just in the center. ...

I'm sorry I shouldn't have posted this. I was having a really bad day. I really worry a lot. The PDD support in her school have said they will help. You are right about all my what if's. Whatever happens we will get through it, we always do.

My daughter"s PDD support person(school) has suggested we apply for Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP). 15% get it on the first try, the rest have to appeal. I'm really anxious about this. She is 17 now. When she went from public school to high school, she had a very hard time. I live in the ...

I really liked the show. Even though he was a serial killer, they made him likable. I liked Michael C. Hall when he was on Six Feet Under too. The finale was really good. I won't give away the ending just incase people are going to rent it when it comes out on DVD.

I'm not sure if I should be posting here because I don't have AS (my daughter does) and I'm not in college. But I definitely know anxiety. That's part of the reason I'm on disability. I get really anxious when I'm in crowds too. One thing I do is mentally detach myself from the crowd. I'm not rude. ...

She won't take a bath. She won't use any deodorants at all. She doesn't seem to mind the smell of her shampoo or soap. I think it has more to do with the fact that she has one routine at my place and another at her dad's place. I think I have a easier time because I have a cat.

I watched the view today and I thought that the show was great. There is something I don't understand. They showed a family who's son was diagnosed early and they started him on ABA therapy. They said he was cured. I didn't think you could cure autism. I am bi polar through meds and therapy I functi...
