This is all personal experience, nothing too scientific, just my two cents. I understand the sensitively to sounds and sights, but what about touch, taste, and smell. What is so bothersome about light touches, but not deep pressure? I'd say, same reason as how tickling is more bothersome than scratc... |

Your post seems to be emotional in nature, so this may not be the information you're looking for... but as I understand it: Firstly, rules don't exist for their own sake, they have a reason to be there, in the case of social rules they are a formal set of protocols which people adopt to ease the exc... |

Yea, I remember reading some article that said there are visible differences on the MRI scans.
I wanna add, though, that MRI scans are prone to interpretation, and a lot of confirmation bias is often involved... |

Well, it's possible to be MISdiagnosed at least. I'm no expert in neurology, but autism as far as I know concerns structures in various specific sections of the brain, so brain damage cannot truly make you autistic. |

I myself cannot detect arrogance in others, but as far as I understand it: If you talk to a person about one of that person's shortcomings that you don't have, and that person cares about it, you are perceived as being arrogant. For example: if a rich person says to a poor person "Ah... if only you ... |

Yes, absolutely. Aside from a stuttering problem I have, the concepts in my mind are also quite disconnected from language. Sometimes I simply cannot explain things, and if I explain something that isn't very simple, I'll sometimes start to garble my sentences up to a point where I just think "STOP.... |

Unless it's a cold winter, I always have it very short for practical reasons. Takes less effort (and shampoo) to wash and dry.
I always used to have the barber cut it short, but since not so long I actually get even shorter buzz cuts. |

It's just a way of casual speech. I do it too and I don't see it as problematic. It should only really be an issue if you also do it in more formal situations, or towards people who are explicitly against swearing... http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs30/f/2008/053/3/3/Cid_Highwind_Motivator_by_Kerwyn2112... |

I find them rather laughable, and I wonder if the ideas that we are aliens might actually be a roundabout compliment. Are the saying we are so much more intelligent and advanced/more evolved than NT's, that the only explanation for it is that we must be aliens from a distant planet? :D Hehe... exac... |

Since the likelihood of getting autism is genetic (is this actually confirmed yet? anyway...) I wonder if you have any other family members with autism. My dad and/or my grandfather may have asperger's, they both show signs of it, though neither of them ever got tested for it. I also have a fairly d... |

I dont even know where people get these ideas Some people just have this crazy-ass delusional science fiction world view, and so for any mysterious or controversial phenomena, they have to create their own crazy-ass explanation to fit it in that world view. I know a guy like that. And just saying, ... |

That is hilarious. But the most hilarious one of them all is the theory that vaccines are to blame for autism. It's funny because so many people actually took it seriously. But regarding the things you've posted: I think it's actually kind of flattering, because it shows how these people don't see a... |
